The world changed

Adam walked towards Logan, tears were already sliding down the poor guy face and the putrid smell of happiness invaded Adam nose.

Logan ran towards Adam, a wide smile was sculpted on his face as his hands were open wide for a hug.

"ADAM!, your ali-"He stopped by a hand to the face, Adam was angry, his wonderful bliss was gone a because of this hideous scent, it was Logan happiness.

But he couldn't just tell Logan to stop being happy, Adam main goal was to make sure his family this time enjoyed true lasting happiness so he had to learn to endure this suffering.

"Don't touch me please, just stay your distance, I am not in the mood for hugs"Adam walked away from the excited Logan, his mind was filled with new questions, his whole behavior had changed in that moment that he ate that despair essence.

It was the influence of his demonic bloodline, the moment he eats despair, his like a whole new person, he could still remember how it felt when he killed those people so he could absorb their despair essence.

But he didn't even feel guilt, he felt glad that he killed them, he was internally rejoicing and celebrating that he committed murder on people who didn't even hurt him or attack him.

He could feel it, his moral codes were slowly breaking, he was losing himself, Adam was afraid, he was afraid of the hunger within him, the hunger to spread despair, pain and suffering to all, he was afraid it would overtake him one day and his sanity would forever vanish within that endless desire to inflict despair.

One moral code is the only thing preventing a man from truly becoming an animal and crossing the line whereby law and order truly doesn't exist, Adam could only imagine himself in such a state, a wild animals with both holding him back from doing as he pleases.

'If I was to lose myself, would I hurt my family or those close to me ' Adam took a glance at Logan, he could imagine himself torturing Logan so he could drain him of his despair essence after he killed him.

This thought only got Adam excited, his mind fought against the idea but his body had a different opinions, he could feel every fiber of his being begging to devour more despair essence.

' I have to keep it in control, I can't lose to this desire '

Adam closed his eyes trying to calm himself down, he took in a deep breath as he cancelled all his thoughts and continued journeying forward out the forest.

*3 HOURS LATER*

They both had finally arrived in the village, the villagers eyes widened in shock as they saw Logan with Adam, they knew about his kidnapping but never did they expect he would come back ' alive '.

Adam couldn't help but hold his nose, the scent of tremendous happiness filled the village, most of the villagers here knew each other, they were like family so seeing Logan return safely brought joy to their hearts.

And this brought extreme sadness to Logan, the joy of one person was enough but the joy of an entire village, he couldn't take it.

"Blaargh!!" A huge pile of vomit erupted out of his mouth on to the floor, it even splashed on some villagers, his head was aching with pain, his sense of balance was gone and he fell down on the puddle of his own vomit.

' This feeling is horrible, it more than just a bad smell now, it feels like I am being stabbed'

His eyes closed from the immense pain, he had gone unconscious, all the villagers stood still, not sure how to react to this quick change of events.

They were cheering and celebrating just a second ago, it had been a about a day since he went unconscious, nothing had happened in the slightest since he fell asleep, at least till now.

Somewhere near the Forest of Faren, a duo of two men dressed in a metal attire suited for battle, they rode on white horses, their golden manes flickered in the blowing air giving them a magical majestic aura, this noble steeds looked like something most would only find in fairy tales.

This men signified a change in the world, a change which would forever change this world, something which hadn't occured in the past was happening now, Adam new present had been changed.

' It begun' One of this men thought as he looked up into the sky.

Adam had finally woken up, he eyes quickly opened and adapted to the Ray's of light pouring from the window, a blonde female sat down beside him on the bed, a smile curled up on her lips, he remembered this individual to well.

"A-Anna" he struggled to utter

"Oh your awake, how do you feel?" she asked, her eyes gleamed with joy that would melt the coldest of hearts, this only added to her untainted beauty, her emerald eyes looked like rare precious gems and her curvaceous figure seemed unreal as a god had personally sculpted her....but yet this sight only brought him annoyance.

"I feel like crap"

This new him, it prevented him from enjoying this scene, it wasn't that her visage was beautiful it was sometimes Adam wondered how he got such a woman but the wrong here was....her happiness.

It vile stench drowned the room, Adam tried to hold his breath but it was inevitable to breath it in, he couldn't enjoy the smile of his beloved anymore, neither could he enjoy the joy of his family or anyone.

"Oh, why are you in such a bad mood?" she asked, her voice was quite calm, it felt like a soft melody playing within his ears.

"It because your here" He blurted out without thinking, she looked at him for a moment, her eyes clearly shocked by his sudden reaction

"Oh I see, no problem then, I will soon be leaving anyway" Her eyes looked towards the ground, she was clearly hurt by his reply, silence swallowed the room.

'Why am I such a fool'he couldn't help but ask this.

"Why, isn't it to early for that" He tried to break the silence, and also he knew her leaving this early was strange, he could see the blue sky still retained it ever blue shine while the sun was still up.

"War"The girl spoke softly, her voice was barely audible but he heard it.

"War?, I never heard any such thing till now"Adam raised up an eyebrow, he was so confused right now, he didn't remember any events similar to this occuring

"the commoners don't know but most of the high class do, I don't know the details but my father wants me home as soon as possible" She spoke but their conversation wouldn't be able continue any longer.

*NEIGH!*

The sound of a horse settling in front of his home caught the attention of the two, Adam was still left confused by this whole event.

' Did my arrival change something?' he inwardly asked, the girl walked towards his door about to live but she suddenly turned and both their eyes met, her emerald eyes and his crystal blue eyes.

"Take care of yourself" She waved her right hand as she went into the carriage and finally departed from his view.

" I wonder if we will get together in this new life....or maybe it would be best if i_"

"Leave her alone" a woman interjected, Adam didn't even notice the presence of this person causing him to take a few steps back.

Her sudden appearance startled him, her blue hair fell like a waterfall down her back, her black shirt and trousers displayed the outline of her slender long legs and waist.

"Who are you?" Adam couldn't help but ask this mysterious intruder who sonmehow entered his house.

"call me una"
