CHAPTER 42: The Ogres
One of the entrance doors was pushed open slowly as a pacific eye blinked through the tiny opening.
Aella peered down the premises which were covered in dazzling white snow to see Bane's lean figure walking down the cemented path towards the gates.
At the far end, she could see the big black beast standing by the walls with its back facing her.
A frown came on her face as she couldn't understand what was going on.
Why did the gates need to be guarded? Why did Bane send her off and instructed her not to leave the room? What was going on here?!
Aella didn't like being left in the dark and even if it was an imminent danger, she wouldn't just sit in her room like a fragile damsel who couldn't defend herself.
