CHAPTER 40: The Magic
Aella clanged the plate of pudding loudly as she scrapped every last inch of it to savour each grain.
She immediately reached for the bread to dip into the delectable soup and she hummed with appreciation as she chewed.
The male directly across her at the long table was staring at her as though she had grown an extra head but Aella could care less as the only thing that mattered to her was the array of dishes on the table.
"Would you slow down a bit? You might choke if you continue to ravage the food like a wild animal," Bane muttered as his golden eyes were eyeing her up like she was about to explode any minute.
Aella laughed out loud and proceeded with her meal as she disregarded his disparaging comment.
She had no time to deal with his ever-sour mood today. She was busy enjoying her meal!
Aella had been surprised when Bane had invited her down to the dining room to eat breakfast.
