Aella walked out of the dining room as she blinked her tears away. She felt so foolish knowing that she was in love with someone who didn't even like her back.
He hadn't even made a move to apologize for his actions and it seemed it didn't even matter to him when she mentioned that she was in tears after he left abruptly.
As she walked upstairs, she couldn't help but think that she had never felt more like a fool her entire life. Knowing she would only cry herself to sleep, she decided to talk to someone else who has never once failed to put her in a good mood.
Aella headed towards her parents' room and knocked twice before twisting the doorknob. She peeked in to see her father in bed as Ralia fed him.
"My Lady, do you need something?" Ralia was quick to ask but Aella shook her head as she turned to her father.
"Ralia, let Aella feed me the rest," her father muttered and she could already sense he knew something was up.
