CHAPTER 170: The Conflicting Question

Aella flew out of the carriage as soon as the wheels pulled to a stop. She burst through the gates and speed-walked down the paved path to get to the main doors of the mansion.

She could hear Bane calling her from behind as he followed her but she was least interested in what he had to say. All she wanted was to be alone for a while as she pondered on why her life was such a huge mess.

"Aella, hear me out," Bane gripped her hand as she got inside the house.

She whirled around to glare at him with her blonde hair flying over her shoulder. She was about to open her mouth to snap at him when she saw her mother coming down the hall from the other side.

She didn't want her mother to see them arguing because that would only satisfy her since she had been looking for ways to get them apart.

She had so much to say to him but here wasn't the right place to do so.
