"M-Mother, it is not what you think," Aella placed her hand in air to calm her mother down.
At this rate, she knew her mother wouldn't listen to what she had to say and just make a conclusion that her daughter had been unchaste.
"Then what is it? Huh, start speaking, young lady!" Her mother's brown eyes had hardened now.
"This man here…" Aella rested her hand on Bane's shoulder as she trailed off, not knowing how to put it.
She watched as her mother and younger sister stared back with expectant faces and she knew there was nothing else she could do as Bane had already dropped the bomb.
"Is my husband," she let out with difficulty and paused for a while.
