WHAT A HECTIC DAY(PART TWO)

Aaron unwillingly said, 'Because she fucking woke him up from his dumb slumber.'

'Is that the only reason he'd want her fired?' I inquired with caution. I'm still perplexed as to what kind of supervisor would do such a thing.

'Yep?'

'Be careful what you say, Aaron. Not in front of the kid,' she says. Elena issued a warning.

'Are you all right, working with him?' I inquired, concerned.

'Yes, as long as the pay is adequate?' She proceeded with a smile.

Aaron responded, shoving an entire egg into his mouth, 'Yeah, that's what I'm worried about, the money.'

'Yes, that is the most essential thing, but your health comes first.' I stated. Yes, I'm worried about my sister, but I don't give a fuck about her boss. I've heard of his pride, heartlessness, and arrogance. I've seen him on TV and in magazines. He's a very attractive young dude. And he's beauitful.

I jump out of my thoughts and ask myself, What am I thinking?" 'However, be cautious?' I stated.

'Yep. Really cautious.' Before saying anything, he took some water from his glass cup. ' He's a creep, I heard he's gay,' Aaron blurted out.

'WHAT!!! I was surprised; I'd heard of him a few times before, but I'm not a fan of him.

'Calm down, dude,' I'm not sure if it's true, but someone on the internet claims he is.' With the tip of his finger on his lips, he shook his head and thought. 'Some people thought he was heterosexual, while others thought he was bisexual.' 'However, I believe he's straight?' He expressed his thoughts.

Elena questioned, "Why did you say that?"

'Because he spends a lot of time with women and buys them things.' He expressed his thoughts. 'He's a pain in the ass,' Aaron said, sarcastically.

'He has business dealings with women a lot, so he goes out with them. They aren't worth dating, anyways. However, he does sleep with them.' Elena clarified the situation.

'I believe I also heard something similar?' According to Aaron, 'But, in any case, I'm glad you're quitting?' Aaron stepped out of his seat and muttered something.

'Why do you want to quit?' Why?' I came up with the question. Why didn't she inform me about this? I'm not sure, why am I the only one now learning about this.

'You asked a lot of questions. Which one should come first?' He entered the kitchen after saying this.

'However, why do you want to leave your job?' I persisted. I don't want her to keep going. Yes, I want her to keep her job for financial reasons. There must be a reason for her resigning now.

She laughed and replied, 'I found another job.'

This piqued my interest. 'Wow! Excellent. 'When are you going to start working right away so you can quit and leave your arrogant boss?' I inquired, still smiling.

'Today is Thursday,' She emphasized. 'So I'm going to tell the boss tomorrow that someone else will be replacing me.' She stated her case.

'Replacing you. Why should you do that if it isn't your job? Isn't it possible for the company to do that instead?' I said, frowning. I was taking my second plate to eat something else, and I was really starving. Aaron then sat down after emerging from the kitchen with a jug of juice.

'I just...decided to do it,' she says. 'I still don't want to lose my job,' she says. She muttered something and averted her gaze. 'Listen, Liam, this is for our own good.' She said that with a worried expression on her face.

'What exactly do you mean when you say for our own good?' I inquired, folding my arms across my chest and leaning back in my chair.

'Don't you look at me that way?' She stated her case. 'Whenever you're serious, you always do that,' she chuckled. She started laughing, when she realized I wasn't laughing with her. She became solemn. 'Would you mind taking over for me?' She stated her case.

I let out a sigh. 'I was expecting you to say something like the boss wants you to sleep with him or something?' Just a moment.

'What!! I screamed.

'Your voice is very loud, please turn it down,' Dave remarked as he walked over to the television to watch his cartoons. Regardless, he became bored with our conversation.

'Reduce the volume, huh?' Aaron made a joke.

'Aaron, this isn't the time for jokes. 'I'm serious about this.' I shifted my gaze to Elena.

'You're being serious, huh?' What exactly is there to be concerned about? It's simply a fucking job that pays the bills.

I scoffed, 'Job, that pay the fucking bills.' 'Do you think working for him is easy? She now wants me to assume the position.' This is insane.

'Of course she wants you to take the job because you have to. That company is one of the largest and pays handsomely, and we are even more fortunate that Elena was offered that position. Elena's money pays the rent, the water and electric bills, it buys us clothes, and we all eat from that money dummy?' He grumbled angrily. So, why aren't you taking the job? Elena worked her ass off under him, and she had to make sure she did everything correctly every day so we could eat. We won't be able to eat like this if we don't get this job?' He shouted.

Why are you fucking yelling right now? Elena isn't the only one who brings cash into the house. I'm bringing money, and you're doing the same. So it's not just her money that makes a difference. 'Can you please stop telling me this nonsense?' I yelled angrily.

'Now I'm telling you nonsense. She's offering you a chance that anyone would be thrilled to have...'

I jumped in with a comment. 'It doesn't matter to me; I don't want that type of chance. Perhaps she should give it to someone else.' I stated.

'Are you sure you understand what you're saying right now?' Aaron shouted at the top of his voice.

I slammed my fist down so hard on the table that it trembled. 'I know what I'm saying? I'm not going to take that job?' I stated emphatically

'Oh, really?' So you want to keep doing those pointless part-time jobs that make your bones hurt? Look at the black area that has already appeared under your eyes. Is this how you want to spend the rest of your life?' He said this while looking at me.

This is completely messed up. 'At the very least, it's better than working for that jerk.' I stated.

'What makes you so obstinate...'

'I'm not being obstinate; why are we even discussing this?' There's no guarantee I'll get the job, and the so called boss won't let me do anything like that anyway.' I cocked my head and smirked. 'Keep in mind that he's arrogant, and he'll probably want to find someone else?' When Elena said something, I said something and turned to face her.

'I don't think so,' She stated her case.

Then she turns her gaze to me. 'Right now, you're acting juvenile. I know it's selfish of me to put you in a position where I don't feel at ease, but you have to take that job. I don't like it, but I have to put up with it. It's because of the money it brings in. Because of the pay, many people wish to work for that company. We require funds, and have you forgotten that we require funds for Mom's operation?' She said that with a worried expression on her face. 'And for you to be accepted into college as well?' She stated her case.

'It's simply a secretary job, and my friend claimed she'll assist you get in even if you don't have a college diploma.' So that's why I took the position that Sarah offered me; I saw it as a chance. Aaron is unable to work there, Because he also has a well-paying job. You, on the other hand, do not own it. There are only part-time jobs available that will pay less than Aaron and I earn. We require funds, particularly for Mom's procedure. As a result, I accepted the job offer from Sarah, which required a college diploma, and Aaron is also a college student. He also uses the money he makes for college. So I advise you to think carefully about it; now is not the time to be picky?' She gave me a cold stare before getting up and walking away.

'Think about it,' You appear to be really anxious, and your mind appears to be scattered as well. So get some rest and think about it. Motherfucker?' Aaron brushed passed me, hitting my shoulders and walked away, enraged.
