Nyx did not doubt in her heart and mind when she was approaching the three Elders on seat — Lords Hansel and Ronan, and Lady Rosa — concerning the need to strike the Tartarus Guild before they take the Golden Haven of Magic by storm.
Knowing that they entrusted the settlement of the issue to her as a testament to her capacity in the position of the Deputy Director of the institute, Nyx knew it would be easy to convince them to release that one special squad to act as her side.
If it was about any other trivial matter or something that the Elders didn't consider noteworthy, she would expect a negative response to her request.
However, this matter was not stretching far beyond what should be and needed to be curbed.
Naturally, everybody watched out for what the response of the higher-ups would be to the death of several mages under their command and the rising of this new threat.
That was what Nyx exploited to make her request that day.
