Tragedy (Part 1)

/"So technically I did have a plan. Kade sent Verena the location of the warehouse where he was supposed to meet her. So I called the cops and told them to get there. But it turned out that it had been a set up. I got there before the cops and Kade's men had been waiting for me, you pretty much know what happened after that. . ./" I told him a little awkwardly.

/"That was a terrible plan! You really thought Kade would send you the location to where he was just like that!/"

/"Forgive me for trying to save your life!/" I snapped back.

Suddenly the steel door at the corner of the room slammed open.

/"I see you're finally awake Nate./" A familiar voice broke in.

I could practically feel the color draining from my face as realization hit me.

/"You!/" I spat out. /"It's been you all along!/"

He chuckled coldly. /"I'm disappointed in you Nate, I thought you'd have figured it out sooner./"
