/"I don't think she knows anything./" Aiden's voice broke in, it sounded far away.

Kade's grip on me loosened and his head whipped in Aiden's direction.

/"You were supposed to get involved in her life so we could use her! I didn't ask you to start planning your happily ever after with her!/" He growled..

There was a buzzing sound of a cell phone ringing. Kace cursed loudly before picking up.

/"Stay here./" He ordered Aiden before leaving the room.

The two of us were left alone.

/"You were lying the whole time?/" I whispered. /"After all we did for you?/"

For a moment I thought I saw guilt flash in his eyes but then his face hardened. /"You don't know anything Verena!/" He growled.

/"Maybe I can help you Aiden. Please get me out of here. Let me help you./" I pleaded.

/"Shut up./" He silenced me.

He mumbled something under his breath.
