Inside Zuri's head

"Ow that hurt. Wait where am I now? I don't recognize it." I tried to stand up but couldn't. "What the heck." Then I saw someone coming up to me. I backed away a bit since I didn't know who it was. "Who? Who are you?" "Don't be frightened young one. I won't hurt you. I have some news for you." "Said the mysterious man. "What news?" "First is I was sent here by the gods. My name is Zitchen. Do not be frightened for what you are about to remember. You will be safe. As well as your brother." "I know mother told me that. What does that have to do with what I will remember?" Then he disappeared and another person came.

"Hello. My name is Aria. Let me explain. Zitchen has trouble sometimes. So it is true there is nothing to fear that you and your brother is fine. We do not know who will die or survive. However your friends are strong demons as well as your uncle. As for your son, well when you son gets old enough you will know. Here let me give you a power that will let you know when not only him but anybody changes into their demon you will sense it and if they are turning for the first time you can help them. Like your mother said everything will be fine ok? Now again don't worry what will happen, but I do caution you and the others to be smart about it ok?" "Do you know when the war is going to happen? Do I know the man?" "I don't know if you know either. Yes he is a man. Tell your uncle he is the man he feared. See if he can talk some sense into him before it gets severe. When you wake up you will feel weak." "Thank you Aria." "When you wake up you should already have the power I promised you." Then I closed my eyes and heard people calling me.

Back in reality

"Zuri! Zuri!" "Hmm. Who? Who's calling me? Argh." "Its ok Zuri its Hazel and Kade." Said Hazel. "Hmm. Hazel? Kade?" "Yes we are both here." Then I was slowly waking up. I tried to get up but was to weak. "Here I'll help you Zuri." Said Hazel. "Kade get the pillow I'll sit her up." "Ok sure." "There you go sis. How are you feeling?" said Hazel. "I feel so weak." "That's to be expected you have been out for a week." "A week? Really?" "Yeah." "I'm sorry. It was just really painful. I remembered most of my memories now. I-I saw the Goddess Aria and Zitchen the God. I saw him first then Aria. I need to talk to dad and uncle." "Kade can you get them for me?" "Yes of course."

I closed my eyes for a bit to think about what I was going to say to them until I heard my door open. "Hey dad and Aiden. Is been still here?" "No they went back home. They said once this is all over they will move here to be near you." Said dad. "Oh ok. I wish I could have seen them off." "They said tell her to rest well." "Yeah sure." Once I caught my breath I said. "Ok uncle and father. I have to tell you what I found out. when I was out I saw the God Zitchen first then Aria to explain more. I found out something you already had a feeling of. The man that attacked was for sure who you were worried it was." Then I watched there faces and nodded in agreement. "She also said you and uncle could probably knock some sense into him before it got bad. At least try. Also she gave me a power to sense demons and people turning. Especially those who are turning for the first time. She did it for Rio. I have a feeling she knows something about him but she won't tell me. I will also know and be able to help as much as I can with you too Kade." "Yeah, thanks sis. worry about yourself first." "You know Kade. I was wondering how you got smart for your age? What is your secret?" "Well, I don't know. I ate my fruits and vegetable and learned a lot from the villagers." Then I saw dad scratch his head. "Well, when I was his age, I was smart for my age as well. I guess its genetic in the men." "That's not fair. What about us women? What about me and mom were special? I frowned." "Well, there are many things. I guess you will have to figure it out for yourself." "I know dad. I was just throwing out some humor there. Anyway, like I told these two I remember most of my memories now. Including the dangerous stuff. Its ok if uncle is not here. People there should be safe but things could still happen. Hazel, remember what I told you before?" "Yes, I know." "I'd really like to help but can't. You have other demons just as strong maybe stronger than me that can help you. When you are better, get them to train as much as they can since we don't know when it will happen just that it will happen soon." "I know hazel. Even the Goddess doesn't know when he will decide to start the fight. My power can be useful in battle. I can tell those who are fighting where the bad demons are coming from." "Yeah, that is an awesome power." Said Hazel. "Yeah, I think so."

A couple days later I was up and moving. I went to Rio and played with him a bit. After a while I fed, burped and changed the little man. Father, uncle Aiden, Kade, and Hazel were all there as well playing the Rio. I watched the happy moment and remembered soon this peace will be gone. No one knew when, but the man. "Ok well I also have to eventually get back to smithing. Oh right father you don't know. I'm doing a trial for smithing. Then I will do a trial on warriors. As for the warriors the best time to try it out is during training. They train for battles as I am about to tell them. Oh and Kade, Hazel. Show dad the things I made for you. Oh and the one I made for Hazel I did myself with talking advice. She didn't touch anything at all. I better get going. Have fun with little Rio." I kissed my son goodbye and told him that I loved him and left for work.

"Hey everyone. Sorry it took me so long. I had business then I got sick. I'm better now. So who am I working with today?" "Well Zira isn't here today. Want to work with a guy today?" "Yeah lets do that. I'm actually feeling sort of good today." "Ok then. Jay you will be working with Zuri." "OK cool. Zuri follow me." Then I followed him to his station after I changed of course.

"So what have you been working on lately Jay?" "Well today I am on the part where I make my own weapon. I know Zira just did hers. Yeah we named it after the both of us." "Yeah that was cool. I was thinking we can make one together and do the same. Even though its supposed to be my own." "Yeah sounds like fun." "Ok do you remember the steps?" "I think so but watch me in case I do anything wrong. I had Zira watch me and give advice like last time." "Ok but I will only give you advice if I see you about to do something wrong. That way you can get it." "Ok sounds good. So what am I making?" "Ok lets start off with making a normal bar about 6 inches. Here is the mold." "Oh ok." Then I started making it. I was getting it step by step in my head. There were about 2 or 3 times I needed advice. Other than that I did good. "Ok very good you just need to remember those things I told you and you would be perfect." "Thanks Jay. So what part are you going to make?" "I'm going to make the main part which is going to be hard. Could you make me 3 more bars 5 inches?" "Yeah if you watch." "Ok sure." Then hours later I finished. He only had to help me once on the first one then the other two he still watched in case and didn't need to give me advice on anything. "Very good. Your getting better." "Yeah but this is bars not swords." "Ok let me tell you something. The process is the same. Yes there may be different steps after but Making the sword and the hilt are same as making this bar. When Zira gets back let me know how it goes. Its breaktime now." "Oh finally. I have to go somewhere. I'll be back." "Oh ok see you later then."

I took off my work clothes that were over my regular ones then headed over to where the main head warrior was. "Hello Zeve." "Oh Zuri what brings you here?" "Well we don't know when but as you heard there will be a battle in the future as in soon we just don't know when. These people killed my mom and almost my brother Kade. I don't know if you know but I didn't know he existed until about a month or so ago." "Yeah I heard. Ok I will get them to train harder." "OK cool. Oh and on my days off I will be training with you all. I know some things." "OK sure." Then I left and went back to work after I changed back. "OK shall we get back to working Jay?" "Yeah sure. OK so here is what I want to make. I want you to hold this to see what it is I need to make." "Ok sure." I took the paper and looked at it. "Hmm. I've never seen one like it. OK from what I see you have to make…" then I told him what he needed to make. Just as he finished it was time to go home. "Well I will see you tomorrow Jay." "Yeah see ya I hope." Then I went home greeted my family got a shower and got cleaned up then came back to the living room.

"So Zuri what is the dangerous stuff you remembered?" Said Aiden. "Oh that. Um. Well like places hidden and where they go to and thinks that can happen if your not careful. Also I need test this Key out. Do we by any chance have a village witch or wizard?" "Yeah why?" said Kade. "Well, I need to talk to them about the key and bring the box over." "Yeah I'll take you to him. You should get into a dress first. Not too flashy but a casual one." "OK sure." So I went to my room to change and did my makeup tidied my hair. "Ok good lets go." "I'm taking her to see the Wizard." "Ok be careful over there." Said Hazel. "Yeah brother I know." So I brought my stuff with me and followed Kade.

"Hello? Vince? Are you here?" "Be right out." Then I heard a bang. "Ow that hurt." Then I saw a boy who looked no older than Hazel come out. "Hello. You must be Zuri. As you have heard, my name is Vince. Now I have heard there is a battle coming up. I already warned my friends. I will be participating as well." "Thank you sir." "Oh call me Vince." "Ok Vince. Do you know why we are here?" "I take it you have something for me?" "Well sort of. This Box." Then I took out the book to get the Key. "This Key." "Ah when you got the box and Key out I know exactly what you want. You want to open certain boxes that can help you get what you need for battle or portals to get away in." "Well not get away more like get me a few meters away to get prepared." "I see. Yes that would come in handy in battle. That will take some training for portals as well as the boxes. The portals take longer so we will start off with that. When do you want to start training?" "Well it is getting late now. I have a day off in 2 days. I will also need to train to fight." "Oh about that you don't need to train to fight." "What do you mean Vince?" "Well when you are in your demon form, you naturally know. How long can you stay in it?" "I don't know father hasn't taught me anything yet." "Well before we can do the portal or box thing you need to train you demon form first." "OK I will let dad know. After I have been training awhile I will get back to you." "Yes looking forward to it." Then we both left and headed home to tell dad.

It was a quiet walk home and Kade was worried but didn't say anything. We got home and I told dad what the Wizard Vince told me. He agreed it was time. We would start in 2 days.
