Chapter 26

Aaron's action made everyone think that he was about to abandon the boy who made the noise, after all the zombies were about to surround him. Takashi, looked at him with an angry expression, as he tried to free himself from his grip.

The next action, however, caused everyone's eyes to open in disbelief, he released his grip on Takashi, and with quick, silent steps, reached directly behind the boy and pulled him back.

Standing in front of the main door, turning his back on the entire group, closing the door to the main hallway without looking back.

"Go on."

These were the last words they heard from Aaron, before the main door in front of them closed completely, with Aaron and a crowd of zombies inside.

Saeko and Saya panicked and rushed to the front door, while threatening tears for falling formed in Saya's eyes, but both were quickly stopped by Takashi and Shizuka.

"Let go of me," Saeko said to Shizuka full of coldness, who stopped her. She was so angry with her for stopping her, her body was shaking, as she squeezed her wooden sword, her eyes fixed on the front door.

Saya, on the other hand, was struggling in Takashi's arms, trying to free herself from his grip, but no matter how hard she fought, she could not succeed.

"Let's keep going, he'll be fine, okay?" Shizuka said to Saeko, with a small smile, trying to calm her down. But Saeko could hear the fear in his voice, as he felt Shizuka's hands squeezing her tightly.

Saeko clenched her teeth tightly as she slowly turned around before starting to walk in the opposite direction from the front door.

Saya and Shazuka, too, did the same, tears streaming from their eyes, catching up with the rest of the group.

On the other hand, Aaron looked out at the crowd of zombies surrounding him with a bitter smile.

"Sigh..."

"What the hell did I do? What did I get myself into?"

"Is this the legendary... [My body moved itself]"

Shaking his head, he knew it was useless to think too much, what he had to think about was how to fight in a small place, with a zombie crowd.

"Shrink"

His great sword shrinks at a visible speed, before becoming a small dagger

Holding her tightly in his right hand, he activated his ability to see the eyes of death, lines of death, began to appear in Aaron's visual world.

There was a flash of cold light in his eyes, and without retaining a shred of his strength.

He kicked the zombie that had come in front of him, as he waved the dagger backwards cutting off the head of a zombie that was about to grab him by the shoulder.

"Uh!"

The zombie's head fell, as he spilled blood.

But Aaron's eyes are full of seriousness and harshness, he knew that at this moment, he was facing the greatest danger in his life.

It was in that moment of effort. A zombie behind him grabbed him by the shoulder, and moved directly toward his neck, intent on biting him.

"Shit!"

The sudden zombie shot surprised Aaron's heart, but he soon reacted.

Leaning his body down, he let the zombie bite into the air, while Aaron mercilessly waved his dagger, cutting the line of death from both of the zombie's legs.

"Boom."

The zombie fell to the ground, as blood spilled over Aaron's face.

"That was dangerous, I must not be careless!"

3 seconds, 10 seconds, 20 seconds...

Every second that went by, his dagger decapitated a zombie, the corridor was flooded with blood, while the corpses accumulated forming a small hill.

"Well, just 10 more, and I can finish them off..." Taking a deep breath, as I watched the rest of the zombies with cold, icy eyes.
