Brief History of Toivoa, if you're interested
Toivoa, a world of magic where the strongest beings were hailed as gods, ruling the masses since ancient times.
These so called gods were people who conquered naturally formed dungeons that started appearing.The conquest of these dungeons gave them enourmous wealth and power.The livelihood of every person who can wield mana revolves around these dungeons.
War between races, kingdoms, even families for the ownership of these dungeons took place in every era.
To make matters worse, a cataclysmic event occured, the dungeons started producing a sinister mana different from the world's mana.
This mana was termed as 'corrosive mana', all lifeforms from the weakest to the strongest beings were effected.This era was termed as 'Corrosive Era'.
A treaty was signed by the leaders of the world to find the solution or at the very least slow down the process of the corrosion as soon as possible.This era of peace, termed 'Peace Treaty' era did not last long.
The unique monsters residing inside the dungeon started coming out, these monsters were far superior, strengthen by the 'corrosive mana' they were far more stronger and intelligent.
Thus a new era started, these dark era had many names 'The Beginning of the End', 'NeverEnding War', 'Last Struggle', ' Extinction of Gods' and many more.
