Battling the Serpent (Part Three)

The monstrous serpent head suddenly opened its mouth wide and, toward the approaching Bone Scorpion, spewed out an invisible sound wave.

Upon contact, the Bone Scorpion's body suddenly stiffened midair, and then it was ferociously knocked backward as if struck by a tremendous force.

The silver chains dancing around the monster's body blurred suddenly, and amidst the crisscrossing shadows of the chains, they formed into a huge silver net that surged toward the green moon.

As the green moon plunged into the huge net with a menacing force, it started spinning wildly, emitting an unpleasant sound of metal grinding.

Just then, a flash of blue light appeared in the distance, and the enormous ice spear approached the monster.

The monstrous serpent head let out a low growl and, from its mouth, spewed forth a billowing pillar of crimson flame that collided with the massive ice spear.
