"She had passed out again doctor", Theresa heard a woman's voice. She slowly tried to lift her heavy lids, trying to make out what was going on, something she's been trying to do from the past so many hours. Theresa flinched a little as she tried to get up, opening her eyes adjusting to the stinging light. Disappointment would be something so small to describe what she actually felt sitting exactly in the same room as before she had planned to make the great escape. It felt to her that whatever she did, the universe just won't let her go, she was exhausted now, physically? No. More like mentally. Frustration, anger and anxiety the constant mix of these emotions was eating her up in the inside. The nurse turned around and smiled at Theresa. Theresa smiled back, she knew refusal to accept her current situation would only make things more difficult for her.
"Why would you walk around like that you haggard?" Rhonda sat just beside Theresa on her bed.
