Incident at The Colony

A man stood on a podium in front of a crowd of reporters. He was a rather young man, around 27, with slicked-back black hair, dressed in a suit. On his chest was a badge that read "Michiru Robotics & Exploration".

"This was your company's colony on Europa. Can you shed any light on what happened to the colony and why it was destroyed?" a reporter asked.

"We are currently investigating the matter," he replied.

"The rocket was an automated cargo ship. Who was on board?"

"It was an employee of our company."

"Why hasn't there been a public statement about him? Did he have important information?"

"Rest assured, we will provide details once the investigation is complete."

"What kind of investigation will you conduct?"

"Our team has been dispatched to thoroughly investigate the incident."

"Will independent experts be involved?"

"Once our experts have completed their investigation, we will bring in independent experts."

On that day, a mining colony on Europa was destroyed. There were no survivors except for one unknown man.

There were rumors of illegal activity at the colony, but nothing was confirmed.

Two months later, the CEO sat in his spacious office waiting for a report from one of his employees. In front of him stood a young man in glasses and a suit, holding a tablet.

"Sir, not only did no one on the colony survive, there's practically no trace of them left."

"What do you mean? Absolutely nothing? What about the research?"

"Everything has strangely disappeared. The cause remains unknown, but it seems the creatures got out of control."

"What about the creatures themselves?"

"They're gone, too."

The CEO rose from his chair, slamming his fist on the desk. He fixed his gaze on the employee. "What about the other survivors?"

"I learned that he had arranged for another rocket to take two more people to the space station before returning to Earth."

"Why wasn't this reported earlier?"

"I only discovered it when I arrived at the station."

"He must be hiding something. There must be more to it."

"What about the reporters, sir? They're demanding answers."

"I'll take care of them. Focus on finding these people. I'll keep a close eye on him."
