Alisa sent her eyes lurking around for an escape as she paced back in slow steps but couldn't think of anything. She glanced back at Nick who was by then stalking towards her in slow strides. She wished for a voice to scream but then, her throat felt like it was locked.
"Oh God. Please help me." she grumbled mentally, still pacing backwards. She tried to move another step backwards but then hit her back on the wall. She deftly slitted her eyes to check and found that she was cornered, there was no escape. Nick smirked as he pressed in on her, slightly pushing her against the wall and lifting her chin in the process.
Alisa looked in panic as Nick searched her face for God knows what with the smirk and mischievous glints in his eyes slowly fading away.
She flustered a little as Nick stared into her eyes, his looks unblinking. He held her gaze for a while before moving to the lip. She stared at his lips as they inched closer, suddenly feeling numbed. She involuntarily closed her eyes, the pacing of her heart beat increased more than normal as the heat from his breath drew closer.
"Ahem, what's going on over there?" a voice interrupted from behind making Nick jolt back, deftly turning in the process.
"Hmm...came to summit my assignment sir." he hastily mumbled with a grin which obviously looked faked.
"And you Miss Daniels?" He asked, approaching them but Alisa was not fully herself as she was yet to recover from what just happened. "I...I..." she stuttered, not really saying anything. Only lifting her assignment book slightly.
"Mr. Hayford scoffed, slightly shaking his heard as he took the book from Alisa; knowing how selectively mute she was. "I understand. You can go now." Not waiting for another word from her teacher, she hurried off, leaving Nick behind. "You should dress well Mr. Walter." she heard the teacher say to Nick as she rounded the corner to her class.
She hurried through the corridors to her class, meditating on what happened with flashbacks running through her minds eye. "What was that?" She flinched, shaking away the thoughts. After 10mins walk, she came to a halt behind the classroom door. The playful chatters behind the closed door was enough to tell her that almost everybody was in the class. She sighed, taking in a deep breath before pushing the door opened. She glided into the class, walking past some of her mates in groups; chatting. With others throwing rolled papers at each other but nobody paid any attention to her which was quiet a fortune for her.
She sauntered quietly to her desk and to her surprised, someone as scribbled something on it. She took a closer look and it read "BITCH" "STUPID NERD" She quickly looked, glancing around for the culprit but nobody looked suspicious as everybody was busy with whatever he or she was doing.
She stared back at it for a while more before settling on her chair. She glanced skeptically around one last time before rummaging through her bag for a tissue. She sighed, cleaning it up. When she was sure it was well cleaned, she dropped the tissue into her bag to dispose later. She then picked up her Sociology textbook and buried herself in it.
Not long after 10mins, Mr. Mark staggered into the classroom and everybody hurried to their seats causing the chairs to make some scrapping sounds on the ground. Alisa lifted her eyes from her book for the first time since she started reading to see what was going on and saw their teacher walking to his table.
"Drop everything aside if it won't be needed for this lesson." He announced and the whole class fell into silence with little whispers here and there. "Can we start now?" He queried.
"Yes sir.." the while class chorused and the lessons began.

After long minutes of scrutinising and making sure that Nick was properly dressed, Mr. Hayford finally let him off his hook. He hurriedly scrolled out of his sight with a scowl on his face. Getting to the hallway, he began to walk in slow paces as flashback of his earlier encounter with Alisa struck his minds eyes. He slowly passed his fingers on his lips with picture of Alisa's panicked face which was kind of cute to him and soft lips bare before his eyes.
He instinctively flustered, near shivers running down his spin as he snapped out of his thoughts. "Gross.., what was I thinking?" He growled.
At that moment, his friends ran up to him. "Hey, Nick?"
"Hi guys..." He glanced at them.
"Woow..." exuded Jack, "What happened to you man? Seeing you dressed formally like this just makes me dizzy." he teased, making Fluke and Lucas roared into laughter but Nick glared at him, his expression was grave.
"Come on Nick," Lucas patted his shoulder, "You know Jack is just teasing. No need to be so serious like this."
He stared at Lucas for a while and clicked his tongue, taking the lead as they were all heading towards their class. "Oh." Fluke mumbled sharply as they glanced confusingly at each other then raced after him. "Come on– Nick." said Jack as they rounded the corner to the corridors.
