I ran. Ran for my life. I didn't think those creatures were my next opponents on this floor.
(First! I should find out a hid place!) I muttered in panic.
Meanwhile, their flock of harpies screamed again. It was loud. I was shivering in horror because of that. Afraid of being pounced on by them. I started running as best I could. Hoping to escape from their hunt.
However, an unexpected disaster appeared at the wrong time. Accidentally, I tripped over one of the big tree roots. It made me tumble to the ground. Not only that, my leg was sprained because of it.
(Why... right at a time like this?! Fuck!) My panic increased.
Along with that condition, one of the harpies started swooping down on me. I hurriedly tried to rise from the ground. In the end, because of my sprain, I almost didn't rise. Finally, I just crawled from the ground.
They swooped down already. They almost reached at me like an eagle who prey their hunt. I, who was almost near death situation, tried to reach the big roots. Tried to enter it.
(Almost!) I started reaching the roots of a tree.
When I want to reach the root, my head started to move the fly. Flying like fluff in a cotton flower. The drops of blood started to follow the same rhythm as that. At the same momentum, I saw my body already start to eat piece-piece by those creatures.
They began to torn apart every organ in my body. Hands, internal organs, until the feet are not spared from them. It's like witnessing brutal mutilation.
Now, my head was lying on the ground. When I was about to die for the umpteenth times a whitish silver harpy approached my head. It started picking up my head with its feet. And finally...
I'd died... with the condition being chewed like a wolf chewing the head of a rabbit.

Time passed quickly until night fell. I started waking up in the same place as I died. While sitting holding my head, I looked around. As far as my eye can see, some of my equipment was lying and scattered everywhere.
"Damn it! They killed me like a bunch of toddlers who scrambled at toys!" I was annoyed.
However, in the end, I can't do anything but pick up that equipment only. At least, for now. Realizing that,
"Now, what should I do... to fight with those creatures?" I said it while thinking about it at the same time.
Not long after that, Nostradamus laughed from the surface,
"HAHAHA! What a fresh joke! I thought thou would beat them easily. Turns out, thou had died like an unsophisticated toy! An antique toy!"
"Fuck off! You'd lied to me first!" I was angry at him. "Instead you help me, you'd laughed me in the face!"
"Helping thy? Me? Nay! It didn't find in my dictionary!" while continued laughing.
"At least... At least tell me some clues, you bastard!"
"Thou'rt a man! Find those clues by thyself. In this reality, a man always finds their color... their ways... their adventure, especially their responsibility.. by thyself. Everyone, even thy lover or family, didn't always help thy in every situation!"
"Stop fucking saying that with your filthy mouth!" I started angrily. "You didn't know me... my family... while you as if knowing them. You... made me throughout all of the misery experience like an endless journey that I didn't want in the first place!"
"Stop spoiled like a child, thou'rt!" A firm tone started to increase. "The only clue I've given to thy is they're afraid of fire!" Then, his voice finally left.
"Asshole! Don't run away from this!" I shout at him. "Even your words aren't clues at all! Every life being afraid of fire!"
But he didn't respond to me back.
(Fuck it! Now, he had left the chat!) I was annoyed already.
Right now, I returned to my hideout and tried to solve this problem.

Time after time went flies. Finally, Morning arrived the next day. Even so, my sleep wasn't as smooth as before alias, I'd sleep deprived. It's almost because I'd overthought ways to deal with that flock of stupid birds. As a result, my activities are slightly disturbed.
(What must I do right now??) While yawning at my daily routines.
"Ah, shit! How to fight the four horsemen of that chicken boss?! If they had only one boss, I didn't have a headache like this!" I got dizzy when thinking about it.
At one point, I heard a familiar voice that I recognized. Then, I rushed to check the situation with my equipment. Quickly and cautiously, I already slipped between the bushes.
When I checked, two harpy creatures were making a fuss. They fought each other over a rabbit. Fiercely, they fought with clawed and tore each other.
(If I saw them, they were more like a vulture than an eagle!) While observing them.
In the end, one of the harpies almost died. The other harpy left with its prey. Go away from that place swiftly.
After a while, the harpy didn't move again. I waited for a moment while looking around. When the previous harpy didn't return again, I started to approach another harpy that lay on the ground with caution.
In my sight, the harpy was bleeding profusely, especially in its chest. Without a doubt, I intended to kill him.
However, surprisingly, it suddenly made a move and sang instantly. The voice of the harpy singing was euphonious and melodious. I was fascinated by its voices.
Unfortunately, its singing began to slowly fade away like a mist. Because of that, my consciousness returned to normal. When I was already aware, I said,
"Thanks for your valuable lesson!" While stabbing into its chest.
It started to scream. However, its scream wasn't as intense as during its fight before. In the end, it died bleeding out.
I started to examine the harpy corpse. While examining, its body had bones, which I'd say, were thin. It's more like a bone of a bird.
(More like the bones looked more like a pigeon or an eagle if I touch them closely!!) Muttering with a curious tone.
As I thought, its bones broke easily when I accidentally touched one of its feathers. It became one of my additional notes for analyzing and dealing with them.
(Wait... birds? Harpies?) I remembered one of Nostradamus's words yesterday.
'...they're afraid of fire!'
Realizing that, I took the corpse to a hideout. At the same time, I started to circle this floor. Observing every ins and outs of the floor without exception. Of course, it takes a lot of time for me. The checking-up lasted until nightfall.
After checking, I immediately made a road map to check and did this plan. This action requires careful preparation. Finally, I'd set everything already.
(Tomorrow!) I muttered optimistically.
***
At dawn, I started my plan into action. It must be right on target. Quickly, I immediately ran to all corners of the floor.
At the first point, I started burning with the equipment provided. I burned some trees. I did this from one point to another. In the end, the fire started to flash from one tree to another tree quickly.
As time went on, the trees started to burn. The forest became a sea of fire due to the rapid spread of fire. This made several of the harpies run away in an instant.
This also triggered the previous harpies. They thrashed in agony because of the many flames that spread around their tree. Their voices were screaming loudly from where I stood.
(This is where the funniest and evilest part began!) I muttered optimistic.
