Chapter 10 - Secrets Unfold

Matthew's POV

I'm going to ask her. I really want to, she's nice, and sweet, and overall.. Cute. "Hey, uh Mila? I gotta ask you something." She looks over and comes up to me, "What is it?" "Well, me and the other guys (and Adira because Noah is going to invite her) are going to a beach tomorrow after school. Do you, wanna come with us?" I feel my face turning a bit hot, what if she says no? Oh god I'll be too embarr- "Sure! I'd love to go!" Wait she actually accepted?? "Oh! Cool! Oh, also bring a skirt and another top because in the night we're going to a luau." Her eyes light up in excitement, "I've always wanted to go to a luau! Its sounds and looks so cool! Thank you!" She gives me a big hug, I hug her back and squeeze her just a little bit to make the moment last a little longer. "I'll see you tomorrow at?" I nod, "I'll pick you up at 5!" She starts to walk off, "See you!!" God she's so cute. I just want to hug her all day and we'd watch anime together and, AH GOD DAMMIT! STOP THINKING THOSE THINGS OR ELSE THEY'RE GOING TO GET WORSE AND YOU'RE GOING TO END UP LIKE NOAH! PUTTING HICKEYS ON A GIRL'S NECK IN THE MIDDLE OF SCHOOL! I'm more dignified than that.. No I'm really not.. God dammit, I can do the same things as Noah, and I feel the same things as Noah.. NO. GET OUTTA MY HEAD!! NOT TODAY AND NOT SOON. I go back home and lie on my bed. I'm bored. I'm going out to eat. I walk to a small town near by, its a cute little town, not many tourists come here because they don't know of the place. I look around and see Mila, Adira and Nahla walking towards the beach. Weird why are they going to the beach at night? I follow them discreetly trying not to make any noise as I do so. I see them go towards the water and look around so I turn around behind the tree I was hiding behind. I look back and see them being covered in golden sparkles and jump into the water. "Where do you guys think we are going to find the necklace?" Mila says as they swim in the water. I see a very large tail and almost gasp out loud but hold it in.

"You know that guy I pushed in art class with my whirlwind right? Well I figured out that he is a werewolf from the way his eyes went black and he called me mutt. So I kinda attacked him and put him in the basement with some charms to keep him there. We are going to get some information." Adira says swimming with her tail. Mila splashes her with her large purple and gold tail. "MILA! YOU KIDNAPPED A WOLF!" Shes says at her friend. I See her hands start emanating a purple like energy. "Oh calm your fins. Nahla will erase his memories after we get the information." She says as Nahla nods. "Soooooo Mila, Matthew aye?" Adira says wiggling her eyebrows. I feel my face heat up at the mermaids comment but continue to listen in. ".. you jerks I swear. He's really cute.. He is also really nice and stuff and like so cute and i really want him to like me.." The girls smirk and splash her with water before swimming off as she emanates a growl. She waves her hand over her head and I see a pair of light purple horns come out of her head and spiral around her ears. She dives deep into water and takes off. The- what- I am so confused. I look around and start walking off. They are mermaids. And Mila is a demon mermaid? Does that mean Hama and Sedna are mermaids too? Oh god I need to tell Noah. I feel arms behind me, they're drenched with salt water I smell? The arms are hugging me.. "I'm sorry you had to see that.. I guess we're bad at keeping secrets huh?" I turn around to see Mila in a bikini with her horns still on her head wearing a sad frown and a bright blush. I see Adira and Nahla in the background glaring at me. Adira walks up and looks at me. "You won't tell Noah right? I was already planning on telling him so if you tell him I won't hold back on unleashing my siren on you understand? "I feel the power radiating off of Noah's mate and realize she was the new Luna since she is the Alpha's mate. Mila gets in front of me, "Hey! Trust him he's nice and on our side! He won't tell." She sighs "He better. Or I will throw him out to the sharks. Come on. Let's get him home and go back to the dumb werewolf in the basement." Mila whispers to me "Don't worry, I will never let them do that." I smile at her and kiss her cheek lightly. "Thanks, Mila." I say smiling as we start going back to the boys house. She turns red and faces the other way.
