White Room

The moment she opens both of her eyes. She was in a pure white room, and there she found a figure of a man sitting on a chair, smiling. But for some reason, Runa cannot see his face, no, she cannot see his whole body. This "something" before her is a lump of light taking a man form.

"Welcome to my residence, Haruna."

"Yeah, And you?"

"Oh, forgive my rudeness. My name is Gaesper, I'm an existence you human called God," he paused for a moment while taking a glance at Runa, "Still look at how calm you are, even though normal human who had come here is all having a confused expression on their face."

A dangerous alert is ringing inside Runa head. She feels like she couldn't afford to be careless before this guy. Normally Someone who proclaimed himself as a god will be considered as crazy or chunni. But with her inside this white room, it forced her to believe the things he said.

"And where am I now? What will happen?"

"Oh, you sure are calm. Oh yeah, just in case I'll tell you this," he said as he put his head on his hand, "You still haven't died on that side."

"That side?"

"I mean the earth, I pulled out your soul from your body. And bammm, here you are talking with me."

Hearing so, Runa couldn't perfectly maintain her calmness, her eyebrows twitched. But there's still no change in her expression.

"Then, will you send me back? The great Gaesper?"

"The Great 'huh?" he took a peek at Runa, "Haruna put up her body to protect her childhood friend and a guy she doesn't know."

"..."

"And to the kind you, I guess I'll give you a mission to save seven worlds."

What is this person saying? That just impossible, she thought in her mind. However,

"Yeah, I guess that was a normal reaction. It's impossible, that's why I want you to do it." he said it as his smile turned into a crescent moon, "Haruna, blessed with outstanding talent, good physical body and a extraordinary brain. She leads a comfortable life and almost died without using that talent of hers to the fullest even once in her life. So if you want to go home use that potential of yours to the fullest and save the world."

"But I can't save the world only with my brain and physical body. I need something on a different level because I don't know what will stand in the way."

"I know, I know," Gaesper said as he shrugged his shoulder, "I'll give you another power," he paused for a while, "Let's use gacha to make things even more interesting."

Gaesper said it with a crescent moon smile on his face, this person is truly a mad god. And Gaesper swung his hand upside down, suddenly a gacha machine's falling from the sky.

"Well then, go ahead. You can use it twice."

After that, Runa walk to the machine slowly while being fully careful toward Gaesper. Then she used the machine. Runa somehow can hear her own heartbeat, Thump Thump. Because it was the first time she ever used gacha.

(I-is this the power of gacha?)

She thought in her mind as she rolls the gacha, Kachak. A ball came out, she takes the ball with one of her hand then open it. What came out was.

<Advanced Appraisal>

"An appraisal skill, on top of it the advanced grade. Not bad, not bad."

Gaesper said as she takes a peek on the gacha ball on Runa's hand. though Runa doesn't want to admit it, she thought the same thing as Gaesper. And then she rolls the gacha for the second time.

<Projection : Transmutation>

Transmutation, a synergist skill. The skill for weapon making, it's a useless skill for combat. But Runa didn't mind it because she thought it was a nice set with the previous Appraisal. No, it was as if this set was made especially for her.

"It was for weapon making skill 'huh? what to do? want to re-rolls?"

Said Gaesper with a slight pity face, but Runa shook her head thinking that was unnecessary.

"No, this will do."

"Is that so? Then I already made a mark on your left hand."

When she looked at her left hand, there are seven crow furs lined up making a circle.

"When you think you're done saving the world just pour some of your magical energy to the mark," and once again Gaesper smiled turned into a crescent moon that made Runa feel chilly, "And when you think the world is not worth saving. Destroy it with both of your hand."

"W-what!? There's no way I can do that. I'll save it, for sure."

"Is that so? I'm looking forward to it. Ah yeah, there's something I forgot to tell. If you ever think of just live in the other world, I'll use that body of yours and commit suicide in front of your parents."

It may seem like just a threat, but his face is serious. He may really do it in case Runa thinking of living in another world.

"And don't forget that at the time you're on a journey to saving world, the time on earth is still ticking." he paused for a while and, "Your mom's blaming herself for the accident that occurred to you. She doesn't eat properly, she dreams about you every night and her eyes are so lifeless."

There's no evidence to what he said. That's why Runa doesn't show any reaction, and suddenly a monitor appeared out of nowhere in front of her. Inside that monitor is Runa's mother sit in a room, the room is full of a medical device. It was a hospital room, her mother just sat still there saying nothing with her lifeless eyes. And when there's a sign of her lips moving,

"I'm sorry. This is my fault."

Her mother said so that made Runa couldn't maintain her calmness anymore. Anger is taking over her heart, she couldn't waste her time for saving the world or something like that. She needs to go home right now. But right before she pointed out her anger at Gaesper, her eyes feel so heavy, her conscious is drifting away from her.

"Good night, Haruna. It was up to you, To save or to destroy?"

The next time she opens both of her eyes. She was in the middle of a circle, the circle had a complicated pattern on it. The circle looked like a magic circle from manga and anime she once saw on the tv.

"The Hero's summoning ceremony is a success."

"With this, our world will be saved."
