Chapter 6

She walked out and saw that he had already prepared everything. They sat and ate. While eating, she noticed that Trevor was confused. He was trying to say something but he couldn't actually figure it out. "Do you want to tell me something Trevor?" "I actually want to say something but I don't really know how to to put it." "Just talk Trevor, I'm all ears. Whatever it is that's bothering you, you know you can always talk to me." That was enough to take away the anxiety that had formed in him. "First off, I'd like to start by thanking you. You have been really helpful to me since the attack and even before the attack. I guess I might even be a parasite to you..." "You're no such thing Trevor, and besides what are friends for?" He smiled at this. "I would just like to make one last request" "What is it?" she asked, concern written all over her face. She hoped it wasn't something that would ruin the plan. "Well, as you know, I've been planning on going to different villages to get recruits. I'm thinking of starting an army so that I can take the war to the attackers. The last time that we, the village men, went out to get those that were taken captive, I and two of my comrades were lucky to get out of there alive. But I believe that there's power in numbers, and so if you could grant me this request it would mean a lot." "Trevor, you're getting me worried now." "The thing is, I'll be needing a lot of food supplies for the army. You can't take a bunch of hungry men to war right??" he laughed at his own joke; it was a nervous laughter, he merely did that to reduce the tension that was forming between them. "So you're asking that I give you food supplies from my Dad's warehouse?" "Something like that". She sighed this was what she was avoiding. She knew that he could stage a proper attack if this worked and helping him achieve that was the last thing she would do. But turning him down quickly would raise suspicion. She had to be careful with the answer she would give him. After a long time of thinking, she finally spoke. "Look Trevor, I'll have to tell my dad before doing anything. He is fond of you so he might agree coupled with the fact that you saved my life. You can be a bit certain that he'll help you out. But I'm not making any promises." "That's just what I needed to hear." He smiled at her and continued eating. She returned his smile but inside her, she knew nothing would be alright she had to send a message to her dad and she had to do it quick. "Trevor I'll be back I have to send my dad the letter as quick as possible. I wouldn't want any delay. The earlier, the better." "Okay I really appreciate it". She just smiled and walked away. She went straight to the library, locked the door and started with her letter. She had to warn her dad. She told him to prepare for an attack and she also told him of Trevor's request. She knew he would see the urgency behind the letter and she hoped for a feedback from dad. Soon.

Trevor had already finished having his meal and intended to go see Luca and Frank. He wanted to tell them of the new achievement at least that would strengthen their hope. He walked in and saw Isabel walking up to her room. "Isabel, I'll be going out to see Luca and Frank. I'll be back soon." "I thought you said you weren't going out today." "Yeah, but something came up and I'll need to see them." "Okay Trevor, but remember I'm not making any promises". With that he nodded and walked out of the house.

Liza had been going through intense training. She was being trained to be an assassin. They had reasoned that with her beauty she could get them good kills. She had almost lost hope that she would be leaving this place. She was starting to accept her fate. She was even scared that her brother was dead but she refused to believe that. She knew what he was capable of. She had grown up to see his powers develop and become stronger. She knew that not even an army could take him down. But she was still worried; it had been long since he used his powers she feared that he could've suppressed it so much, that he had lost it. What if that had happened. Lost in thought, she didn't realize that she was running straight to someone. And before she could think, she had bumped into him. She fell not that she lacked the stamina, but because she didn't expect it. She closed her eyes expecting the hard embrace of the ground beneath her feet but she felt nothing but a firm grip on her hand. The person, whoever it was, had caught her in mid air. She opened her eyes to meet a pair of deep blue eyes, white silky hair, a perfectly shaped face, bright and really smooth skin. The person standing in front of her, made her believe that she was in heaven and he was an angel. But on looking around, she realized that she was still in that place. She wished that she had actually died. At least she would get relief. He drew her up so she could stand on her own. "You should always watch where you're going. Things like these could get you in trouble" "I'm sorry" " It's no problem. I'm Alex by the way" "Liza. I'm Liza." " Okay Liza, just don't hit the wrong person next time"! he said running off. She just stared on. She had seen a lot of guys and all of them had asked her out but she had never seen anyone as handsome as this guy except Trevor of course. "Liza, you have been summoned by the masters. It seems like you will soon be going on your first mission.
