The days went by quickly. It was already 9 days after the attack. He decided that it was time to go meet those two men so that they could start with their mission. It didn't take long to find them as they were both friends who knew each other's house. So when he found one he found the other. They all sat under a tree, talking about which village to visit first, what they would say, how they would say it and who would say it. They agreed that Luca should speak since he was very beguiling. He had a sweet mouth. He was known for confusing people. He could explain why morning was afternoon and why afternoon was the next day. He was a trader and was expected to have more customers but he didn't. People didn't trust him and the ones that did, spent a lot of money on him. What was more, he was bold. Bold enough to tell people what they wanted and what they didn't want to hear. So they were cleared in that aspect. Frank knew everysingle place that there was to know. When he was young, his dad was a Normad and he went around with his dad. So,from time to time, they would go different places trying to get grass for their flock. He could take you anywhere without a map he could even do it with his eyes closed. So they actually had a living navigator and a walking map. Now that they were ready they just needed food supplies. Trevor could come up with a solution. Besides, he was staying with the daughter of a rich man. They all agreed to move out the next day. He went home with the mind that everything would be okay. He also remembered that he had spent 9 nights without having a single dream. He would talk to Isabel when he got home and hopefully, she would help out.

The king and his Syrus sat having a discussion. "I suggest that apart from your daughter, there should be someone. Someone helping us to you know, gather information on the boy's move so we wouldn't be taken by surprise. " There is already someone. He is a friend of Trevor's as we speak. And he has even told me about how Trevor wants to gather recruits from neighbouring villages so that they could launch an attack." " So wise of you. But how long were you planning to keep me in the dark on this?" "Well, I knew you were wise, so I was going to wait until you suggested it and that was today." "Hmmmm. So aren't you going to do anything to stop Trevor? I mean he has a good plan and if he succeeds he could actually launch a successful attack and then we would be at loss." " Let him try he won't succeed I just know it." "and if he does?" "Let's just say that that's something that will never happen." Well, why not we place a bet?" "A bet?" "yes a bet." "Okay, when I win, you'll get me a platter filled with gold. And when you lose you'll get me a platter filled with gold." "Well, I'm going to prepare my army so that when he comes, I'll be there to protect you and your beautiful daughter from the lonely men that will attack this place. "Be rest assured Syrus, I won't let them rape you. Even my daughter will be there to protect you." He got and was walking away when the king said, "Syrus I know you might be annoyed with how I've been keeping things from you and I'm really..... sorry yes it's something that I don't usually say but I'm sorry and one day you'll know the reason why i have been keeping you in the dark all these days. I do hope you can stay for dinner and there will be women you know...." He smiled and turned around. His anger, faded. "Well on a second thought I think I'll stay. Not for the women or anything but because you apologized and I can't cook so dinner and possibly breakfast here is a really good idea." "Come sit beside me let's talk. Maid! Get us some wine let's toast to our victory" "Don't be so sure that you'll win without a fight." "So you still believe that he will form an army?" "Of course. Even if he doesn't have an army, I'm sure that he can take down the whole of our armies. You should have seen him fight sometimes I think I would not have been able to fight him that day. He didn't have to swing his sword twice, once was all he needed to kill all the men there." " So that was your worry. You should have said that you were scared of him. I'll allow you to gather your army and I'll give them better weapons." "I'm not being scared I'm being precautious. I never underestimate my enemies. Never." "So you over estimate them then." " This argument with you is pointless you don't see things from my perspective. Where's the maid? I really need the wine now." "She'll be here soon."

It was dawn and the sun shone brightly into his room. He could feel the light on his face. But then a shadow covered it. Then the shadow went out again. It felt like the sun was blinking. The shadow was back again. Opening his eyes, he saw a feminine structure it was the shape of someone he knew. Someone who would cry if he left he smiled at the thought. "Are you smiling?" "Yes" "I thought you were sleeping." "You woke me up." " Won't you go out to find clues for your sister?" "About that, I wont be going out today I'll be spending time with you." "With me? Okay, so why won't you be going out. Have you found her?" "Forget all that let's go make breakfast then we can talk about it over the food."

This was strange, Trevor never stayed home one day for the last 9 fays and he suddenly wants to spend time with her. This was certainly unexpected. Dad never talked about any of this happening. Or maybe I'm just overreacting. He probably is just tired since he hasn't found any clues. But he shouldn't be because if that happens, everything would be a waste. "Isabel I'm waiting?
