Micah POV.

I shouldn't have yelled at my mate, he wants to keep me safe, but then my insecurities got in the middle, I yelled at him, I pushed him away, and now I'm paying the price, it's not my knee that hurt now, it's my heart that's aching, it's my wolf who's screaming for my mate to come back, to come and hold me, we're sorry for pushing him away.

I wanted to go and follow him, but I couldn't do that, I couldn't get up on my injured foot, I can't get up, I should shift to heal myself some more, but doing that would mean I'd fall asleep, I didn't feel safe enough to sleep yet.
