The Demon Face

Haechi looked up ahead seeing the land not too far away, it has been extra two days now since their ship set off, he look a bit disheveled, his eyes bloodshot red, his mouth dry and his countenance more whiter, he has been through a lot this pass few days.

Cough! Cough! Haechi coughed up blood as his chest started rising unevenly.

"Calm down, we can pull through just this once more, you just have to hold your ground while I hold mine" The shadow said.

"aaaagh! Haechi said screamed as he find a part of the ship to grab hold on, his arteries seem to be about popping out of his body.

"We will kill them all right", he forced out some word as sinister smile slowly appeared on his face.

"Stay in there, you got Yuki, you know at the ship she said you are the only one her heart beat for, also remember you said you will go find her" The shadow tried to get Haechi back to himself.

Hmmmm, hmmmm, hmmmm, Haechi breathed out loud as he turned to look at the shadow,

"fight him, fight death, I support you, am not accepting the contract, you just have to fight" The shadow said.

"Roar!" Haechi roared out as his hand sink in the ship wood tearing it into bits.

"hmmm, hmmm, he panted then looked at his palms.

"hope you are not thinking that" The shadow said seeing Haechi looking at his palms.

Tum! Blood dripped from Haechi palm as he draw out his katana.

"You said you will not kill people on the boat, I think you will feel bad if you kill them and recover" The shadow said.

"I don't plan to kill them, I plan to wake up" Haechi said as he drive the katana he just brought out into his chest.

"what are you doing," the shadow screamed as it ran over.

"the contract need blood, my own won't be bad for holding it for a few more minutes" Haechi said.

"you are really a monster" The shadow said pacing back.

Tud! Haechi collapsed as his blood gush out.

"see, I gained clarity" Haechi forced out word as blood continue dripping.

Seeing this, the shadow seems lost of word as he looked at Haechi who sat there, a katana stucked to his chest and blood dripping profusely.

"someone is stabbed," a girl that just came up the ship deck where Haechi is staying shouted as she rushed towards Haechi.

"what should I do now, what should I do now" the girl said seemingly confused on how to face the situation.

"leave, it is a small wound and can't kill me" Haechi said with a smile that look as sinister as ever appearing on his face.

"You are bleeding out" The girl said seemingly concerned.

"Just leave, it is really not safe being around me especially now" Haechi said as he put his hand on the Katana drawing it out as the hole made by the Katana immediately showed something like a demon face sucking on it.

Seeing this, the girl stepped back with a look of horror written all over her face.

"it is not really safe," Haechi said as he tried to stagger up.

The girl was totally shocked as she keep staring right there where the katana mark is , the demon face seems to be sucking the blood cause it stopped gushing out as it was doing before.

"I see what you are talking about," Haechi said referring to the shadow as he looked down on where the katana mark was seeing the look of horror in the girls face.

"When I killed that one of the ship members and saw it appear on him I thought it was some sort of his demon, you don't want to share command or be controlled by this that's why you want to redo the contract right?" Haechi said with a smile that look nothing good.

"we need to stop that, it is directly from death" The shadow said.

"Sure, Sure" Haechi said as he stared down a bit more on where the katana mark was.

The girl hearing the conversation seem to even have find Haechi more weird as she looked at him, she heard Haechi talking but didn't hear the shadow reply or see the shadow.

"You should really be going now" Haechi turned to talk to the girl.

Hearing him, the girl immediately left.

How long do you think it will last, Haechi said as he look at his body where he stabbed in the katana to see that the demon face was no longer there but has appeared on the ship floor sucking in the blood.

"The blood it sucked will last it two hours" The shadow said.

"Good, scout out the way to Yuri once again" Haechi said as he looked over to see the land that was not even up tyo a stone throw away again.

"Okay," The shadow said as it disperse into the thin air.

After the shadow disappeared, Haechi looked at the katana mark a smile appearing on his face, "nobody will scold me if I kill them all, you will get enough blood to shut your mouth," Haechi said looking at the demon face that looked up seemingly hearing him.

Few!!!! The demon face mouth sounded as the whole blood on the deck immediately flew in with one go.

"You can do that too" Haechi said with a smile as he dipped his hand inside his pocket bringing out a packet of cigarette and lighting a stick as he watch the demon face rushing back toward his body.

Pa! a swiff sound was made as the demon face sprang up jumping right to the hole made by the katana.

"am I really a human?" Haechi asked himself as he burst out laughing before noticing something.

"Oh, you can do that too" Haechi said as he saw the demon face now having hands which seems to be closing the hole left by the katana.

"yeah, am a monster" Haechi said as he burst out laughing with the ship now pitching.
