The imprisoned Soulmate

"Please let me out!" Have I not endured enough??? "Mori! Mori! Mori!" Ciaran screamed as he pounded on the doors.

"Be silent!" Grim said as he appeared

"Where has Mori gone?"

"Am I responsible for him? "How am I to know?"

"Well, since you're his lackey, I figured you'd know."

"You are quite the spirit for someone so powerless. Tell me why you make such an effort. You're fighting to reclaim a love who has abandoned you, admit defeat Ciaran, and let her go. She is living her life without you on Earth, and you are still fighting to find your way back to her after so many years."

Grim teasingly smiled at him.

"I understand how lonely you must feel; believe me, I understand. "Perhaps we can find solace together in that regard," Grim said as he walked closer to Ciaran.

Ciaran understood Grim's insinuation.

"No, thank you; my heart has already been spoken for; please leave me alone."

Grim was offended and rejected; "Are you aware that she is now with Mori?"

"No, that's not true; I know Mortala."

"Ah, do you now? I can only imagine what she and Mori are up to in the land of the living right now. He has a body, and she has a body; they're probably making love as we speak, sweet delicious love while you rot here."

"You're lying!" Ciaran snatched Grim's neck.

"She has forgotten you; it's been thousands of years. Spare yourself the heartache and move on."

"She will never forget me. I will never stop trying because I know one day, I will find my way back to her again."

"Oh, how romantic, But you and I both know that will never happen. You are a permanent guest here in the palace."

"You can't keep me here forever."

"What do you expect me to do? Mori is the lord of this realm. I can't betray him."

"If not for me, then do it for you, I know you are in love with Mori."

"You speak falsely."

"I have watched you for years, seen how you look at him. You are in love with him and it kills you to know he will never reciprocate what you feel."

"Shut up, you don't know what you are talking about" Grim got defensive.

"If he does succeed with Mortala, you will never get the chance to be with him ever. She will be his queen and you are relegated to the shadows of their union.

"I'm not stupid Ciaran, I know what you are trying to do. I won't betray Mori and free you. Now shut up and be quiet" Grim winked at Ciaran then disappeared.

It had been 2 weeks since Delilah's hospitalization. She was finally back at school and working at the cafe, as much as school and work exhausted her, she preferred it to the boredom of being confined to her apartment.

She was in her apartment after school, catching up on her assignments, when she heard a knock on her door.

She stood up and went to the door.

Kim was holding a lovely rose bouquet.

"How are you doing, beautiful?" he asked, his face lit up as if he'd won the lottery.

Delilah squealed with delight when she saw him, kissed him, and took the flowers.

"They're lovely, Kim, thank you."

Delilah squealed excited at the sight of him, she gave him a kiss and took the flowers.

"Wanted to check on you."

"You are so sweet, thank you, baby," said Delilah as she gave him another kiss.

"I have to go now, see you later, I have work," he smacked her ass and left.

*** Later that evening ***

Delilah returned home from her classes and began preparing dinner, knowing that Kim would be arriving soon. She had planned a romantic dinner for the two of them. Before Kim arrived, she lit her candles, set the table, and went into her room to shower. Her phone had fallen under her bed while she was undressing. Exasperated, she bends to get it; she notices the bag of jewelry she received from the stranger weeks ago. She pulls it out. The card was in the bag, as was a note with the names "Ciaran, Mori, Mortala, and Lance." She recognized her handwriting but couldn't recall why she had written those names down. She knew it had something to do with her recent blackouts. Before she could finish her thought, her phone rang, and it was Kim. She answered the phone.

"Hi baby, I'm outside."

"Ok, I am coming." She opened the door for him naked and gave him a kiss.

"Welcome my love, you arrived just as I was about to take a shower.

Kim looked at her, aroused by her beautiful body, and then flung her over his shoulder and carried her into the room. He tossed her onto the bed and began removing his clothes and shoes. Delilah smiled as she looked at him.

He drew her to the edge of the bed by her ankles. His gaze was drawn to every detail of her. Delilah opened her lips to accept his kiss, and he kissed her back. His breathing became more rapid, as did his kisses, and he craved her. He made his way down her neck, to her nipples and belly button. He found her sweet spot and feasted on her. He took her every moan as a sign to escalate what he was doing to her. Delilah couldn't take it any longer, and he drove her insane with his mouth.

"Please stop, I can't take it any longer," she begged him, but he didn't. He continued until her body trembled and quaked, releasing her orgasm. Her entire body was exhausted, and she just lay on the bed. He lay next to her, breathing heavily and staring at her.

There was silence because no words could express how they both felt at that moment. He stood up and carried her into the bathroom after a few moments.

She melted into his body's warmth. He put her in the tub, turned on the shower, and jumped in.

They had dinner, made more love, and fell asleep after they finished showering.

Delilah awoke in a dimly lit cottage room. She stood up and looked around; there was a man standing by the window. He turned around to face her.

"Where am I?" Delilah asked.
