Ever since Harley arrived and became his psychiatrist, albeit a fraudulent one, Lucien slowly started to pull himself together after a long time of staying wrecked and broken beyond repair.
Every time they meet, they pretend to be having his regular diagnoses and check-ups. In reality, though, they are discussing what he came here for, the people behind this set-up, and why they needed him.
"It is not only Rupert who is aware of your remarkable achievements, Mr. August. Even those from Neos Aion Organization, our people, and other more practitioners in the field of scientific research know how capable and intelligent you are. But the thing is, most of them are wary of your mental illness and unstable condition. You are called a wasted genius, you know. If not for your current state, many scientists will be fighting over to train you," was what Harley told him one day.
Apparently, Lucien made a name for himself outside of that mental facility.
