Chapter 12

It has been a month, both Lia and Liyli did not talk each other nor meet each other. Lia was happy to have new friends. She's really close with In Ha now. They shared almost everything. The best part, In Ha reads her story and she would always give the best reviews and opinions. Her latest chapter is about how she had argued with her best friend. Lots of her readers wrote the comments feeling mad about the sudden change with the character. Sometimes, she noticed that Liyli was sitting alone while having her lunch, and she even saw her at the café that she's been doing her part time job. Sometimes, she even worried about her family matters. But, whatever it is, she still can't forgive her yet.

Four of them, Dan, In Ha, Lia and Donghoon are hanging out in the studio right after their final presentation has ended. They released a breath of relief because this will be the last presentation for their study days. No more presentation anymore.

"Finally, it's over~" said Donghoon as he leans his back against the chair.

"I still need to submit my thesis… my due date will be next week." Said Dan as he takes a sit on a chair next to Donghoon.

"What about you, Lia?" asked Dan

"I just submitted my last draft a week ago and I think my due date will be next week too…" answered Lia as she put all her belongings inside her bag.

"Wait, I thought the due date will be the same for everyone?" asked In Ha.

"Well, whatever it is, over degree study life is almost over, shouldn't we go an celebrate?" asked Donghoon as he stands up.

"Like how we always did once the semester has ended?" asked In Ha and Donghoon nodded. "Come on!" said Donghoon as he led the way, followed by In Ha, leaving both Dan and Lia behind. "I should join too?" asked Lia as she pointed to herself. Dan smiled.

"Of course. You're one of us now~" answered Dan.

"Okay~" beamed Lia.

Truth to be told, for the first time ever, Lia was celebrating the end of their semester. Usually, once all the presentations had been done, she would spend her days in her room, study for the final exam. That's how she excels in every semester. But for the last semester, instead being in her room, she got to go out with them.

All of them has arrived at a mall that is located in the city centre of Seoul. They started their outing by having lunch first as Donghoon said he was just too hungry after being nervous from the presentation this morning. They ordered lots of food. "Yah, can we finish all of this?" asked In Ha as she took a photo of the food to be uploaded in her social media. Meanwhile, Dan, who always brought his camera with him, took a candid photo of them while having lunch.

"Don't worry, I'm here to finish all of it!" said Donghoon happily making Lia laughed at his silliness and Dan would never forget to capture a photo of her. Four of them were having the lunch with laughter feeling happy. While In Ha and Donghoon was arguing on the last piece of the meat, Dan gave Lia a few piece of tteokbokki that he just ordered.

"Here," said Dan "their tteokbokki was good. You should try it~" added Dan.

Then, Lia took a piece and have a taste of it. Indeed, it was delicious. "It's good!" said Lia happily as she eats it. "Have more~" said Dan as he gave her more tteokbokki on her plate. Both of them are so into their own world, forgot that In Ha and Donghoon was watching them.

"Ahem, we're still here. Are you gonna give her all of it?" asked Donghoon teasing them. "Im not~" said Dan as he gave them another plate of tteokbokki. "Here," said Dan. "Happy?" asked Dan. "very." Smiled Donghoon and he shares the tteokbokki with In Ha. Dan saw that Lia was blushing and said "just let him be… he likes to tease people~" said Dan and Lia nodded. "Its fine~" smiled Lia as she ate the last piece of her tteokbokki.

Right after they had their lunch, four of them spend their time at the karaoke. Donghoon sings a lot of songs and Lia was having so much fun spending time with them. She couldn't stop laughing seeing how funny Donghoon is. What surprised her the most is that Dan has a very good voice.

"His voice is good, am I right?" asked In Ha who was sitting next to her.

"Yeah…" Lia nodded while smiling, listening to his voice.

"Do you like him?" asked In Ha suddenly and that made Lia widened her eyes.

"Eyyy don't be too surprised… I know you like him~" teased In Ha and Lia blushed again feeling shy.

"Hurry and confessed to him… don't wait… he might get snatched from someone if you're late~" said In Ha.

"But I don't know how… I have no experience with this kind of thing…." Said Lia sadly. Before she had a crush on Dan, Lia has zero experience in love. She had never thought of liking someone, not be in a relationship with someone.

"Then…" said In Ha as she tapped on her chin, thinking how to help Lia. Then, she got an idea.

"Aha! Our farewell dinner, you can confess to him on that night~" said In Ha.

"I don't plan to go for the dinner…" said Lia.

"Yah, there's no way you're not coming to the dinner. You have to. If you're not coming, I'm gonna drag you from your house. Get it? It's your only chance… come on…." Pleaded In Ha trying to help Lia to confess to Dan.

"I don't have a good dress to go for the dinner~" pouted Lia.

"No worries, I can help you!" said In Ha happily.

While both of them were talking, both Dan and Donghoon went near them and wanting to know about their conversation.

"What are you girls talking about, huh?" asked Donghoon.

"It's a girl's talk. There's no need for you both to know." Said In Ha. Then, both Lia and she laughed suddenly making the boys feel weird with their sudden action. "You girls are weird~" said Donghoon. Then, right after their karaoke has ended, they decided to have some dessert and went home. Lia was about to go home by bus, but as usual, Dan insists to drive her home.

After a few minutes of driving, they've finally reached her home.

"Thanks Dan." Said Lia as she unbuckled her seatbelt. Before she gets off from his car, Dan had called for her.

"Lia," called Dan and Lia turned her face to look at him.

"Are you coming to the farewell dinner?" asked Dan but Lia did not know how to answer him because she's still thinking about it. In Ha was pleading, asking her to attend the farewell dinner too. It's not that she doesn't want to go, but because the farewell dinner is for the seniors and most of the students will attend the event. There's too many people and she's not ready to meet other students after what had happened to her last month.

"If you're worried about what other people would say to you, just let them be. The past it the past…. You don't have to worry about that…" said Dan.

"It will be alright… we'll be there for you. It's gonna be fun~" said Dan tries to persuade her to join the dinner. Lia was silence for a while, thinking.

*should I or shouldn't I?* thought Lia then she suddenly remembered about what In Ha had said to her and finally, she has decided.

"Okay, I'll go." Answered Lia with a smile.

Finally, the day most of the seniors have been waiting for in finally here, the Farewell Dinner. It was an annual event of Haneul University to celebrate the seniors who have completed the semester and some of them will be an intern students while some of them are only waiting to be graduated. The event is prepared the juniors and in this event, there would be games, performances, buffet and many more just to entertain the seniors.

Lia was getting ready in her home with In Ha helps her to choose the dress that she should put on.

"Oh my god, no. choose the pink one!" said In Ha as she noticed the green colour is not suitable for the dinner tonight. Then, Lia came out wearing the pink dress, and In Ha was satisfied with it. Then, she started to make her hair, put on a little bit of make up to Lia making her look pretty for tonight. A few minutes later, right after she's done with Lia's makeover, she takes a look on Lia and feel very satisfied with it.

"I wish you a good luck for tonight~" said In Ha tries to cheer Lia up saying that she can do it. She needs to confess to Dan tonight. Meanwhile, both Dan and Donghoon has arrived at the hall. Both of them were waiting for In Ha and Lia to arrive while drinking the drinks that has been served at the buffet. "Aren't they late?" asked Donghoon feeling annoyed waiting for them. "Come on, have patience…" said Dan and laughed seeing Donghoon who looks so bored right now.

"By the way, are you prepared?" asked Donghoon and Dan nodded "yeah, of course." Said Dan while he drinks. "Wish you a good luck bro~" said Donghoon as he tapped on his shoulders. Suddenly, while they were talking, Dan saw a familiar figure walking towards them and it was Lia. She was looking beautiful with the pastel pink knee length dress as she let down her long wavy hair.

*beautiful* thought Dan with a smile.

"Sorry, we're late~" said In Ha as she took a seat next to Donghoon while Lia took a seat next to Lia.

"You're here~" said Dan.

"I promised to come so here I am~" smiled Lia.

As soon as they arrived, the lights in the hall has been turned off, and the event has started.
