The Birthday

Waking up early in the morning, Amara went downstairs and noticed her parents avoiding her. Amara told everybody it's her birthday but nobody cared. With sadness in her face, she went upstairs thinking that people in her house doesn't care about her anymore. Amara sighed and locked the door until she heard noises downstairs.

She looked at the window and saw Luke going to her house. Rushing towards the door, she opened it and saw a box. Getting the box, Amara opened it and saw a beautiful pink glittering dress with a letter from Luke. As she was trying on the dress, Alex came knocking on her door. Amara opened the door and saw Alex in a suit. Alex said "Happy 17th birthday! You look gorgeous. Can I escort you downstairs?" Amara laughed and said "Sure!"

Going down the stairs, Amara saw a crowd of nobilities surrounding her. Her brother told her that they prepared a surprise birthday party for her and Luke that's why people in the house weren't minding her.

After greeting the guests, she saw Luke walking towards her. Amara said "Ummm..." Luke Interrupted "May I dance with you my lady?" With a shy voice, Amara said "Yes." The two then danced together at the center of the room. While on the other hand, Mei saw them and started feeling hating Amara.
