Cheryl, observed how Rawlins continues to pace up and down, "Rawlins, will you just try and relax for God sake? You are working up yourself for no good reason."

"How can you say that Cheryl, my prayer every day is for that fool Carlos to get his head off his hind, and go in the plantation and work like Rufus?

I only hope dad's heart doesn't break, all he wants is to see some great-grand."

"Honey, why is it I haven't seen Mom, she visits at least once a week, but since the wedding she hasn't visited.

And I went to the cottage about three times since the wedding, only to find the house lock up, and no one was home.

And Rawlins, Oliver was telling me Courtney was here Sunday morning, is everything all right with them?"

"I just came from the cottage, I took one of this lantern to them, for the house and they seems alright."

"I hope you demonstrated to them how to light it, before they blow up themselves?"

"I show Courtney how to light it, so it is safe, there's no need to worry."

"Dad, did I hear you say, you get to meet Courtney?" Janis asks.

"Yes, honey, I now visited her."

"You are so lucky, we have been trying so many days and not once we was fortunate to meet her, she is never home, neither Pappie nor grandmother. Since Courtney came to the house, the doors are always locked."

"Well, my beautiful darlings, that's the reasons I have so many locks here, it is to protect the four of you.

So, your Pappie is doing the same, Courtney cooks his meals and take care of them both, so they keep her under lock and keys so she won't venture out and get hurt."

Hugging Kimmy, "Sweetheart, when it is your grandmother and Pappie alone, there was no need to lock the door, but the people on the plantation have seen her for the wedding, and are asking questions."

"Dad, but Pappie keep telling us no one will interfere with us so Courtney has nothing to fear."

"That is true my dear, but she is very pretty so Pappie is taking precaution, and that young lady is pretty amazing.

Do you know she visited the mill and would you believe it, she can operate the saw and the machines."

"Rawlins, that is enough foolish talk, we all know that ladies don't work in a sawmill, and those saws are very dangerous so stop talking nonsense?" Cheryl rebuke Rawlins.

Seeing him smile when he said, "Okay, don't believe me, but ask Gus or Joseph when you see them, she even shows them how to adjust the saw to get an extra piece of lath. Now because of her we are making some extra cash."

When the light went off, Cheryl calls out to Carlos, "Mom you call?"

"I wanted to know if you full the generator today?"

"Sorry, Mom I was busy and I forget, I will go now and check?"

"Busy, what were you doing so that you forget, when it is only one task I give you?"

Becoming so angry with him, shouting at him, "If you cannot ensure that one small generator is always full? How will you manage an entire Island?

And you know what? I am always disappointed, I must talk to Pappie, this idea of having an heir for an inheritance is a total waste of time, if you have to run this plantation we will all starve to death."

Seeing him returning with a gas can, "Why isn't the light on yet, Carlos?"

"It has no gas, Mom."

"Then get some now?"

"Mom, the service station is close, the news came not too long ago about the storm, so they instructed all businesses to close early."

"And it didn't seem wise for you to check and see that everything was in order. If Rufus was here I won't have need to worry."

Turning to Rawlins, "Honey will you go and see if Pappie has extra gas? If this fool go he might make me shame, telling them that we don't have any gas for the generator."

Lighting the lantern then leave for the cottage. "Thank God, she didn't demand Carlos to get it, because he would have surely known that Mom and Dad aren't home."

Calling out at the cottage, "Courtney, it is I, I come to check the generator."

"Okay Uncle, I hope it start?"

Looking at the water rising, 'It is already five feet on the wall. Taking the small can of gas then left calling once more, "It is not starting, I will have to get someone to check it tomorrow."

"Okay, Uncle!"

Feeling the breeze blowing a bit stronger as though it was angry, "Are you angry with us Father, tell me what is my shortcoming?

Whatever is our fault Lord, I will try my uttermost best to rectify it, just keep our children safe.

Lord this Island belongs to You, and these people are Yours, so if we fail in any way forgive us.

Lord, I cover this Island with your blood, deliver this Island from every evil and natural disasters."

Unable to believe what he was hearing, when the cry came, "No, this cannot be, it is that evil spirit that is causing all this destruction.

But how and why? Only Dawson Son, causes him to surface. I am certain Cheryl is mistaken?"

Hearing the rain singing from a distance, driving a bit faster and hurried to the shed and full the generator.

When it started, "I can't believe it started, I really expected it to give problem starting, so how come Pappie generator is acting up like the other generates on this side of the Island?"

Recalling Clyde's words, "Only from this side of the Island, their generators have been giving problems.

Now all this is becoming more confusing by the minutes, if Risha is pregnant, then why is it our generator is working?

And if that fool had made sure it had gas in the first place, then we would not have any problem starting, but I must thank God that child sound normal."
