lunch

"what!!!! hell no !!! "

I screamed as Ritsuko sat there without even bothering.

"it's just a simple lunch "

Ritsuko mumbled still not looking at me . I was about to speak back when she grabbed my hand and started dragging me out.

"Ritsuko wait ... please leave me "

I was trying to escape but her grip was too strong ,stronger than me .

she didn't give me any reply till we were at the dining.

we stood in the queue and got our lunches.

"follow me , don't dare to run away"

she said while pushing her hair with one hand .

I swallowed the lump as I nodded hastily.

I was walking behind her like a lost puppy until she went and sat with Hiromi.

I immediately turned around to leave but her voice made me stop.

"kiyo? "

I turned and saw it wasn't Ritsuko who called me , it was Hiromi!

"ummm , can you join us ?"

she asked as my eyes grew wide and my lips curved up with happiness. I nodded nervously as I sat near Ritsuko opposite to Hiromi.

"oh my , you don't have to act all nervous , feel free with me just take me as your friend"

she said as she brought her hand closer and patted my head.

"so kiyo? why are you always silent? "

she asked with her cheeks puffed out as I sat I awe.

"umm...it's ...uh..I don't know"

I fiddled with my fingers as I maintain a smile on my face on order to not make her seem awkward.

"I've got some work "

Ritsuko told as she patted my back indicating me to behave good .

I pursed my lips to a thin line being nervous at the thought of being alone with Hiromi . not even seconds passed as the Fanboys began to crowd over Hiromi , just then I realised they stayed back just because Ritsuko was here.

I didn't want myself to die as I escaped from the group. giving one last glance of her I clicked a picture of her I smiled and jogged to my class.

I came home being all flustered by the plans . we were kind of friends now which was unbelievable . I went home as I hugged kiyoko and swayed from left to right .

"Kiyoshi had a good day hm?"

she asked giggling at my behavior.

I didn't give a reply as I let go of her and ran to my room leaving her shook.

I took out my diary and started writing ,

dear diary,

today I was really happy and now Hiromi is my friend , tho it is too much to ask I want her more than just friends . I feel like I'm beginning to start a new life which colourful rather than blue and grey . I didn't know what this might lead to but I'm sure I'm in love with this girl Hiromi so badly ....

I closed it as I let myself fall on the soft mattress immediately melting as I wrapped myself up trying to take a nap.
