The moonlight from above was now streaming on their faces, casting its gentle glow upon them. However, despite the serene atmosphere, Ife and the second queen stood glaring at each other, neither willing to show any weakness by averting their gaze.

In an African proverb, it is said that when two stand together and one fears the opponent, even the weaker one can easily gain an advantage. It seemed like they were aware of this, as neither was willing to show any sign of weakness or back down.

At this point, the second queen was starting to feel scared about what might be going on in Ife's mind. She wondered what Ife had discovered and why she had taken Meka's side. Whatever plan Ife had against her, she must not let it slip through her fingers if it meant harm rather than good.
