Darrell awake

Every day is supposed to be celebrated in merriment. To Darrell however, it is both an anticipated day as it is confusing. Done cooking the yam dinner as instructed by her Nana, Darrell busily paced around from one post to the next. Her source of plight is torn between leaving home for her awaking Ceremony and the fear of the unknown. It even gets worst when she recalls that she is asked to come alone.

"Aww, just how should I go about this ordeal? In one hand, I am not sure if the jungle animals meant well for me. But then, I have waited all my life for this promising knowledge.

No, I have to risk it, I also have to risk going to the jungle this night and without dumbbells. But then, it's not as if he will be any useful if things escalates to a martial combat."

While Darrell leaves home, after sneaking out of the house to avoid her Nana's wrath, her feet leads her towards the jungle where she is to be greeted by the greatest shock of her life.

"Dumbells, just what in the world are you doing here?"

"Aww, not with that tone, Scale."

"Scale? Drek, so all our life, you have always known whom I am?"

"Well, are we going to this awakening party or what?"

"Oh we are going alright, but then consider this childhood friendship over."

"But why?"

"Why? How about for lying and fooling me around all our lives. Drek you had the audacity to drag me from peg to post in search of my scales meaning, yet you have always known whom I am?"

"Jeez, girl you ought to calm down"

"I am not calming down Drek, I am so not trusting you for the life of me."

"Huh? Not even for a little?"

"Oh please"

"But I did tell you the truth. You were just bent on not believing in your dragon scales."

So, I am truly a dragon?"

" A half Dragon, and a rare one at that. You are a hybrid dragon Darrell, the type that has the capacity to master all the element's."

"Which of the elements do you speak of?"

"Many years ago, before the universe experienced its first bang, my ancestors and yours were all living in unity. However, years afterwards, a fight erupted. And now, because of this same fight, I have to stop here and allow you go to your awakening ceremony."

"You are what?"

"Yes Darrell, we might not belong to the same house, but girl we definitely share a lot in Common."

"Oh you come back here, you can't keep me hanging. What should I be looking out for when I get to the deep forest, Drek?

Drek? Omg, Did he just disappear into tin air? what in the world just happened? And why is everything I have come to believe in suddenly taking a swift turn? Oh Josh, help me when I get to this awakening ceremony."

"This a-way lady."

"Huh?"

"Still can't see me?"

"Well, yeah."

"Rrr, fuck this black furs then. Forgive my manners my lady, but the name is jesper."

"A black jaguar said as soon as it emerged into a lightening ray, its eyes sparkling golden and unreadable."

"I don't think I will ever get used to seeing animals talk."

"Yeah, but then get used to it already."

"Hmm, which way did you speak about again?"

"Darrell asked the moment she sensed the indifference attitude the jaguar presented through its spoken words."

"This a-way please, the black jaguar repeated itself before trotting proudly in front of Darrell and towards the deep forest."

"I guess everyone animal here feeds well, their king must be a good one."

Darrell thought only to herself before exiting the scene after the jaguar.

"Excuse me, please I sort of understood all what was chanted out except for the last part though."

"Shhh, you do not interrupt the old wise tortoise while it speaks."

Bella the hippopotamus quickly hushed Darrell down.

"Naa madam hippo, I can't hush down without becoming cleared of what is expected of me by that last statement please."

"The name is Bella, and I am not just a hippo, see?"

Bella said and then turned to a beautiful blonde woman with a big back side.

"Ahh the life of a hippo, comes with many back yard pecks, indeed."

Bella said whilst softly hand combing her long beautiful hair all the way to her extremely rounded buttocks.

"You? I sort of felt that your embrace was familiar and welcoming, madam Bella, just what in the world is going on, I must be dreaming, I really have to be dreaming.

Ouch, why pinch me madam Bella?"

"Well that was so as to wake you up."

"I was awake alright, you didn't have to pinch me just to pass your message across.

But, madam Bella, before you get to pinch me again, I really wish you could enlighten me with the meaning of that last statement especially now the tortoise is still busy speaking in enchanting language."

" With the way you ask questions like a lot younger one, one can't help but wonder if you're the one with the big responsibility."

"Oh I do have a big problem alright, and that's why I am here hoping to get these scales meaning, or perhaps how to scrub it out my face."

"Follow me"

"Huh? To where?"

"You ask to many questions, just follow me already."

"But Madam Bella, how about the ceremony?"

"The tortoise speaks as slowly as it walks, it won't be rounding up its enchantments for the next hours."

"Hmm, Okay then lead the way if we must go".
