Awakening abilities

"Madam Bella, you have been resting for a while now, shouldn't we be back on track or turning to return to the awakening ceremony? The tortoise must have rounded up its enchantments by now."

"Scale, carrying this big back side of mine is not an easy fit. But how about you change into your dragon form and I climb over to have you lift me till we get to where we are going?"

"Madam Bella, I am not in any fictional story to change into a dragon, but even if I could change, how can I carry a big hippopotamus like yourself and not break my supposedly dragon wings?"

"You can lift me up and even more three of my kind, Scale. You just have to channel your inner dragon out."

"Say this is possible, how can I channel my supposedly dragon out?."

"You wait and see first what I am about to show you, maybe then your true purpose will emerge."

"Okay then, but for how long till we can get to this place you speak of?"

"We have long been there, the abomination of its sight is enough to enforce a mind preparation."

"Just great, glad to know that we have long reached our destination, but then, don't you and my Dumbells make a good friendly team?"

"Hey, I have no idea who the heck this Dumbells is, but if he is the one you came with, dammit brother was mighty fine."

"Just yuk, I wonder what you and my Nana even sees in Drek.

Madam Bella, now that I have started to understand that this world exists, if I may ask, which of the houses does my Dumbells come from, he suddenly disappeared, like vanished into tin air."

"Huh? But I am not a dragon

See it, I have no wings so how do you expect I fly up to 37,000 feet off this ground?"

"Darrell you are a dragon and even more. You just need to accept whom you are. Just maybe then, your entire form can shift."

"Okay I get, you can quit blowing my ears off with your wheeze honks. Jeez lady you didn't have to shift into your hippopotamus form just to prove that I too can shift. From here, they look like a school of ruppell's, but I can also see that some have grown larger than the others."

"See? You are able to know what the dark shadows are made of even from here, whilst the last and best bird we asked to help flew 10,000 feet up but came back without the knowledge of what that is."

"Say I have this eagle eye to have seen beyond 37,000 fts, surely I can't be the only one creature with it. But why do I even have to refer to myself as a creature, I still need to have the wings needed to fly up this high and to examine the cause of this looming darkness."

"Of course, you are literally not the only one dragon in our world. However, and without further adieu, if I must be the one to break it down for you, I would say that Darrell, you are the only hybrid Dragon to come our way ever since so long ago."

"Huh,? You speak in parables. What is a hybrid and how do I relate to such?."

"If you were not the one with the big responsibilities, explaining to you about life expectations and its abilities won't be a waste of my time in this perilous ordeal. But seeing as how the tortoise believes in you, I will help you Darrell to wake up your inner thoughts.

You see, when I said that you could actually lift me and three of my kind, that was but a tip of the iceberg. From what the tortoise evoked, you are one heck of a powerful creature, and your time of awakening right.

"I still don't believe what you are telling me. But then, talking to a hippopotamus who can shift into a human, and seeing how my Dumbells vanished into tin air before me, I have started to reason it out. Just maybe there is something to this world, and my scales actually have a reasonable purpose!

"Oh please, I am not yet a dragon to aquire the strength fit for a hippo. But fine, I will try."

"Scale, when I said lift me up, I didn't ask you fling me and as if I weighed nothing."

" Aww, but Madam Bella even I didn't know that I could summon such a strength."

"It's not the strength, it has to be your powers. It's starting to emerge."

"But why today, I have gotten enough surprises in this day. First the animals spoke to my understanding, then Drek disappeared like a phantom, and now my eyes can scan 37,000 up the sky?."

"Darrell, it won't be your awakening ceremony if it was not your birthday."

"My birthday? So I actually have one?"

"Oh yes you do. And if you count the calendar's you would find that you actually came in rhythm."

"Wow, forget the rhythm though. I am most excited to have a birthday. A number to my existence. Can we go already, I can't wait to tell my Nana about my birthday."
