"I can give you the rest of them but not my sister," I said to the guy on the acbook

"Well what you do not understand is she wants your sister the most, she does not care about the rest," the guy said like it was obvious,

"And what do you think that those people are not suspecting you, you left for what nine years and you think they have forgotten that just because you are Nen's brother, I am sure they are onto you," he said and I rolled my eyes,

Clearly they did not suspect anything, they just thought I am back because I felt guilty for leaving Nen, yes I missed her but I was majorly back for business and then I would leave

"I will handle everything but I am not giving you my sister that is out of question, so talk to your leader and convince her that my sister is not negotiable," I said and hang up

I had to figure out a way to get past the keepers and get access to Xasv, I know I was a such a disloyal bastard but I had to do what I had to do, it was a way of nature for me, I put business first before family, I am sorry Nen but it is what it is

Nen (narration)

I just laid on Karth's chest and looked up at the ceiling, it felt like we did not have any problems at the moment I just wanted to lay there with him and not have to think about anything else, I felt him touch my hair and I smiled,

"I wish I can just be here for the rest of the day," I said and smiled,

"Me too Nen," he said and continued touching my hair,

Just as I turned and sat on his stomach, we both heard Noth's voice from outside the door, "Karth I know you are in there, you have not come out for over three hours and you know we have to meet with Feron," he said and I got off Karth,

"Give me ten minutes I will be down," Karth said and got off the bed, Noth did not reply I guess he left,

"I have to take a shower and go down stairs." he said kissing my forehead and went to the bathroom to clean himself

I sat there and remembered Noth mentioning Feron, wow it had been so long since I last saw him, years in probably, I wonder how Nora and the baby are, she is very fine for that I know, Feron would not let anything bad happen to her and the baby, it was over a year when Feron sent us a message and told us that his wife had given birth to a baby girl he was so happy, he kept repeating the story but he never told us the baby's name

Karth came out and kissed me, "I will see you later I just hope the meeting does not take long okay my love, " he said to me and I nodded smiling he got dressed and left

After I had cleaned myself I walked downstairs and found the men were just done with the meeting, most of them left and saw Clay coming out with Karth and Feron, they all turned and looked at me, I smiled at Feron,

"Feron hello it has been a long time since I last saw you how have you been oh and how is Nora and the baby?" I said approaching him and he smiled back,

"Oh they are very fine, Nora sends her greetings oh and the baby is fine thank you," he replied smiling,

I saw Clay approaching too and I immediately felt like escaping but it was too late, I have been avoiding him ever since Noth and Santi claimed that he has feelings for me and Karth too he had claims too, for God's sake it was just weird he is Farath's uncle

"Hey Nen, is everything okay between you and Karth?" Clay said smiling and immediately Feron took it as a queue to leave,

"Oh Karth and I are very okay thank you," I replied and tried to leave before he touched my shoulder,

I turned and looked at him and he was smirking it just felt weird because he was a married man, yes he did not live with his wife but still it counts and I am very happy with Karth

"Don't walk away from me Nen I just want to know how you are, you know after I heard that Rik is here at the tower and all, " he said touching my wrist and I pulled it away gently because I didn't want to cause a scene,

"Just make sure Karth does not see you touch my wrist or you will be in for it," I said smirking and left him standing there

Caz (narration)

I made sure I left the tower without being noticed, I had been traveling for over four hours, I was on foot, I looked ahead and looked at the keepers around the mountain keeping the place secure,

I had to see elder Biron it had been so long, I was mainly here for Xasv but also I could see the old man he cared for me very much in the past, I just hope he remembers me,

When I reached the mountain, the keepers looked at me like I was a foreign being,

"Who are you?" woah I guess they were switched up,

"Caz, I am Nen's brother, you know the leader's partner," I stated with pride,

"What do you want?" one of the keepers said and moved close,

"I just want to see elder Biron, look he knows me, just tell him it is Nen's brother," I said already exhausted with their questions,

"Syth it is okay I know this young man," I looked behind the keeper and saw elder Biron, he looked slightly older than when I last saw him but he looked good,

"Elder Biron!" I said with a laugh in my voice and he came closer smiling,

"Caz where have you been?" he asked and I felt embarrassed, I knew I had abandoned him too when I felt, I suddenly felt like a real selfish bastard,

"I am so sorry I did not say my farewell when I left, I feel so bad, Nen still hates me she won't talk to me and I just wanted to explain but she just ignores me like I don't exist," I said and he touched my shoulder, patting it slightly,

"Come with me lets talk inside, it has been so long, Syth it is alright go on," he said and we walked to the huge building, when we got in he ordered one of the keepers to bring us some tea

"Anensia was really hurt by you leaving because I was told she was in the hospital recovering, she always came here to talk to me but she would just look around," elder Biron said and I looked down,

"I feel so bad for leaving I know we both look at you as a father figure and I did not even tell you I was leaving," I said and looked down even more,

"And Nen does not even want to talk to me, she is still angry and I do not know what to do honestly," I said and drank a sip of tea,

"Son give her time you are her brother her only family, she will come around," he said and drank his tea,

"By the way Rik came back to the tower with Karth and Noth, what is he doing in this tribe I thought I would not see him again after what he did but to find out that he went to another tribe and even became security duty is just wow," I said and looked at him,

"He claimed his security duty found an etocrite body on their border and now he says he is here to help but I do not trust him but at least he said what he wanted first, he said they need part of the Xasv," he said,

"What! Karth refused right?" I asked,

"Of course he refused, he actually beat up Rik, some of the keepers had to pull him off," he said and I smiled, Rik deserved it and let him wait when I get my share of revenge he will not like it, I thought with a smile,

We talked for over one hour and I had to say my goodbye, to be honest I wanted to get Xasv through elder Biron but I did not even think about when we talked it is like he changed my mind, I did not want to take it anymore and I had to come clean to Nen

I saw Noth and I asked him where Nen was, he informed me she was in her room, I knocked on Nen's room and I heard a come in, when I got in her room she rolled her eyes, wow she really hates my guts but I am not leaving until I talk to her

"Nen please I just want to talk to you," I said and she looked at me,

"I told you to leave me alone I thought you understood," she said simply,

"Nen please I have done something bad and you are the only one I can tell," I said and she got up, she stood right in front of me I know she was trying to seem intimidating but she was short,

"Oh my God!! What did you do?" she asked and I think I saw concern in her eyes. I am happy she does not hate me, she might not be talking to me but I know she does not hate me that made me happy but back to the point,

"About two years ago I met a foreign group at the border of the Leza tribe, they promised to help me and they kept their promise, we lived together until I knew they could trust me, I took some of their currency but they tracked me down and brought me back, they said they were going to kill me but I told them I was from the Hnerez tribe and they had heard of the metal in this tribe and what it can do, the leader told me I could only survive if I got Xasv for them and something else," I said scratching the back of my head,

"What else?" she said still looking at me,

"You," I said and her eyes got big she looked at me with shock,

"What!! Why me?" she asked in confusion moving around,

"The leader said you would be better to take so that she can have Karth in her control," I said and I looked down,

"Oh my God Caz!! You have to tell Karth," she said and I knew she was right but I could not do that, he would banish me for good
