Lost Mountains

My heart was beating like crazy, maybe because I was nervous or it was that I was that I have been seen naked…

I looked behind the three and saw him still standing there. I didn't bother to look longer at him and I started to dress myself. My hair was heavy with all that water in it, I tried to dry it a bit with some magic and it seemed to help.

I looked back once more, however the human was already gone. I looked back in the air and before I knew did I no longer touch the ground with my feet anymore. I looked over the huge threes and saw where I needed to go where I could stay safe for a long time.

Mountains. Humans didn't know how to reach them yet in this time era so it was the safest place to be at.

It took longer than I expected to reach the high mountains, I saw a place with a lot of threes and water. I safely landed on my feet and started to scan out the era, a lot of bears and wolves seemed to be around and also snakes surprisingly.

I used my magic and on my hand appeared a small bird, I wrote a small letter and gave it to the small bird, the bird took of with my letter to my dear mom who was probably blaming herself that I took of in anger.

I was not planning to let myself get married and need to grow old together with a guy who I probably didn't even like.

In terms of love was I quite blind… I never noticed it when guys were trying to hit on girls or when girls were trying to flirt with a guy, I also never knew when a guy was 'handsome' or just 'normal'... I kinda gave up on the subject 'love' after I noticed how stupid I was with it.

I walked a little further until I saw a small house made of wood, I walked carefully towards it when I suddenly saw an old guy walk out of the house!

Any normal Dark Fey would have or attacked or would have run away, but I was just standing there in shock…

The old guy did exactly the same and looked at me with big eyes.

After some seconds of silence did he suddenly walk towards me with his small body and did he start to yell at me like he was scolding a kid.

"NOOOOOO! THERE GOES MY YEARS OF PEACE! WHYYY OH GOD WHY?! I WAS FINALLY GETTING USED TO THE SILENCE AND NOW I NEED TO SEE A PERSON AGAIN!? I WON'T DO IT YOU UNDERSTAND!! I WORKED MY DAMN ASS OF FOR YOU PEOPLE AND YOU STILL DARE TO BOTHER ME AFTER 30 YEARS?! HOW DARE YOU!"

I was so surprised that I could only say "D-do what?"

The old man looked even more angry when I asked that and he started to scream again… however he suddenly stopped when I started to move.

"What is a Dark Fey like you doing here in Lost Mountains?"

I looked at him surprised that he finally noticed that I wasn't human, his face showed that he was really serious now but also a strange type of kindness…

"So you noticed that I wasn't human huh?" I smiled lightly at the old man however his eyes glared at me as if I was a beast.

"...Forgive me, I was just surprised to see that someone came all the way to here. As the fact if you were human or not was pretty easy, first of, there ain't a woman here in the world that can match that face and body of yours and also.. those horns and wings are an eyesore."

Did this old man just scan me?

How dare he?

I started to look at him and all my kindness just flew out of the window, I glared at him and in my head was I already thinking of how I could crawl his eyes out.

It was strange, after I gave this lady a compliment did I feel the air getting colder.. and heavier.. why?

I looked at the girl and I was stunned when I saw her eyes, those eyes were colder than ice… I was getting goosebumps from just looking at her however her aura was getting darker and colder, it was getting hard for me to breath.

How? Just how can this girl have such an aura?! I, a former general, should not be afraid of some killing intend however this was on a completely next level!

Is- Is she gonna kill me?!
