"Hmm… You've done fairly well for your age though. You have great talent in fighting. I cannot wait to start training you," Ironclaw smiled. "Come now, let's go to the capital."

Soon afterwards, the mages began to cast spells. A dozen magical beasts of all shapes and sizes but all bigger than elephants appeared out of nowhere and allowed the entourage to mount them. Clovis and Eva were amazed and quite excited at this summoning magic. They were told to mount different beasts though.

Realizing that this was the moment of separation, they both sighed and looked at one another with moist eyes and aching hearts.

"I'm sorry you didn't get your the chance to…fuck me." Eva whispered and then changed the topic. "T-train hard, Clovis. For the justice that you seek. For Carl; for everyone."

"Hmm. I love you, Eva." Clovis said tenderly. "Take care of yourself. We will definitely meet again!"

Eva finally broke down and hugged Clovis tightly, burying her pretty face in his strong chest. This melted many people's hearts but also caused many to frown.

"Sigh, come Eva. It is time to go." A female mage said tenderly as she patted her head softly.

Clovis and Eva separated and mounted different beasts, and embarked towards the capital. Their future was certainly bright, but the cost of it was truly heart wrenching. Just like Carl, their misfortune was too great.
