"With all due respect, but you should have said something before he marked you."

"I know!" Alanna threw up her hands in desperation. "I know, doctor. But I couldn't control myself anymore. I… ended up letting him mark me."

"I understand. It's hard to resist urges when you're with your mate." Hannibal spoke.

Alanna looked at the doctor and saw that he looked sad, but she didn't comment.
