Chapter 30

Alanna arrived at the airport and, as expected, her car was gone. She was dumb enough to park in front of the boarding gate entrance. But in the hurry, she hadn't thought of anything but getting to Faolán as fast as possible.

'And once again, I put one's foot in one's mouth because of that wolf!' She thought irritably.

There was nothing she could do there. Her car was probably at the police station. And she wouldn't go there dressed in those ruined clothes and with remnants of the forest in her hair. They would think she was crazy, for sure. The best thing to do was go home, wash and change, and then go after her car. She could always buy another one instead of worrying about that one, but she didn't want an item of hers like this in the hands of strangers for too long.
