"You're absolutely right, Reynolds. Now," Faolán said, sitting down again, "let's get on with the business that brought you two here."

Dante and Reynolds shifted uncomfortably in their seats. It was clear and evident that Faolán Quinn did not need medical assistance, nor a bride.

"I noticed that the lands are compromised. Even the hospital seems to need help." Dante finally spoke, breaking the silence.

"Yes, the fire brought a lot of loss for this pack." Faolán retorted.

"And the attacks didn't help at all, did they? Even vampires are venturing to try to invade these lands!" Dante continued, not noticing the shift in the Alpha's gaze ahead of him.

"Vampires?" Reynolds asked in surprise, looking from Dante to Faolán.
