Chapter Five_Cold Trail

Detective Kesley passed a weary hand over his short blonde hair. He was not happy.

"Darn it!" He swore hotly.

Despite his strong searching, and sniffing around, he had no clues.

Not even the tiniest bit of pointer, to tell him the next direction to head.

Obviously the killer was a true professional. Else he would not have been finding it this hard.

But he was beginning to feel antsy, because he had little time.

Detective Kesley sat down on his study chair and revolved slowly, his brain zapping furiously.

He was thinking of all the possible, and improbable angles he needed to reevaluate.

Maybe he missed something.

After thinking seriously, he decided that the killer needed an unusual approach.

He hadn't failed in any of his assignments, and he wouldn't start with this one.

"But darn it!" He swore hotly again.
