Chapter Eight_Bang! Bang! Again

The wedding experienced a huge turnout, despite it being the Petroleum Minister's third wedding.

Many important people were there, as well as a lot of associates, and government officials.

Even the President sent some representatives.

People were lavishly dressed, and enjoyed the atmosphere of the overly decorated beach.

Soon it was sunset, and time for the after-wedding party.

The party kicked off without any preamble, people mingled here and there, laughing gaily, gorging themselves with food and drink, and no one noticed a tall, slim lady meander quietly in the crowd.

She soon placed herself in prime position, and just waited.

The newly-weds were dancing merrily in the midst of a large, supportive crowd, oblivious to the danger lurking around them.

She casually placed her hand inside the bosom area of her halter-neck, and something came out with it.

She slowly lowered her hand, secretly released the safety catch of the gun, and waited for her prey to come into position.

The Petroleum Minister swirled his wife around, then bent to catch her in a loving dip.

The surprising thing was that he jerked twice, and fell heavily on top of her.

Noticing the deathly pallor on her husband's face, and the warm blood quickly spreading out from his body, the wife opened her mouth, and gave a deafening shriek.

Pandemonium broke out as people ran helter-skelter, hastening to escape from the sudden disaster.

This was the second high-profile murder in a week!

Security men drew their weapons, but ran around in vain, for the dark angel had gone.

She had followed the screaming crowd of surging bodies, and boldly left the scene, undetected.

A swirling wave of sirens and ambulances could be heard from the distance, while a woman in a fast-moving car unemotionally tore down the highway.
