Chapter 19: Nickname

Five passed by, Bell spent almost all his time solo diving in the dungeon, he already reaches the 18 floor. Sadly the monster rex of the 17 floor wasn't respawned. Also, he is still looking for a Jack bird, the 1 million valis drop could be an easy way of making money.

Along this time, Bell looked for Haruhime and found clues about a blonde girl that was useless, she fainted in front of every client. On the other hand, he cared to avoid the hostess of fertility. He wanted to go, delicious food and pretty waitresses are good reasons, but after all, he remembered that Syr, or in reality Freya, will be stalking him. Besides, the pub was part of Freya's domain, he liked to dinner with his grandpa, and he wouldn't be welcome there.

At the current time, Hestia was shopping with Bell. He offered this as compensation for not accepting the idea that Hestia give him a weapon that will be made by her friend Hephaestus. Bell knew that it would be really expensive, and debts are something that will scare away new members of the Familia. Also, he was happy with his weapons.

A few hours later the Monsterfilia event will begin. Hestia was walking toward the Coliseum with Bell. Both were wearing pretty clothes, Bell has a black suit and Hestia a blue dress, her pigtails were blue roses. While they were arriving at the event people began to look at them. They were shining between the people, Bell's intention was fulfilled.

After the event began, Ganesha Familia presented all the members of their staff and then the monsters tamed. Bell was surprised, they were a lot of creatures of the middle floors. The jazziest were the plant monsters, which looked like carnivorous plants.

The event was great, after a few weak monsters that walked through the obstacle track, it was the turn of the stronger. Suddenly, a burst was heard from the back of the show. Monsters began to appear and to ran through the coliseum, they attacked people and escaped.

Bell immediately took Hestia like a princess and jumped away. Hestia blushed a little and enjoyed the moment. Bell gets close to Hephaestus Familia and asked for help to take care of Hestia, he wanted to help fight monsters.

Hestia: "No, you have to stay with me and take care of me" -she said with a pouting face, trying to hide the fear that she felt"

Bell smiled at her and hugged her.

Bell: "Don't worry Goddess-Sama, I will be back soon and we can go dinner after that" -he softly whispered at her ear-

Hestia blushed again and let him go, after that her heart was pumping quickly... without even noticed, she fell for him. The way he treats her, how he talks to her, the confidence and warmth that he transmits when hugging her without worrying about anything else, she liked it.

Bell ran away looking for the plant monsters, they looked strong and he wanted to discharge his boredom of diving in the upper floors. Eina was nice and a really good advisor, but she was annoying as hell. He is a level 4, he is one of the strongest and she prohibited him to go deepest?.

Bell growled and enhanced his body, his black sword turned dark blue and lightning flowed around them. He saw the plant creature and charged toward it, a blue ray was seeing between them. A second after, Bell was behind the creature, a blue slash divided the monster and turned it to ashes.

Bell continued his rampage, killing every monster at his sight. After a few minutes, at the side of his sight, he saw a silverback running away to the outside buildings. Bell took his bow and with an enhanced arrow shot. The creature's head exploded and the body turned to ashes.

After a few hours, Ganesha Familia organized and calmed down the people. The city was safe and the monsters dead or captured. Between the adventurers that helped, Bell was the flashiest. His magic and the speed at which he killed monsters and saved the people, made him look heroic. Between the Loki Familia, Finn was interested in the boy, Bete spat, and Aiz was serious, she remembered all the days in which her hair smelled awful because of the minotaur's blood.

At the night, Hestia told Bell that tomorrow there will be an Emergency Denatus and that she needs to speak about Zeus in the meeting. Bell and Zeus didn't say anything, they knew that this will happen. A few conversations later, Bell begged Hestia that she secure a cool nickname for him, and in exchange, he will give her a present.

On the evening of the next day, Hestia was walking toward the meeting. She was wearing a large white dress with a beautiful rose design. She didn't use ponytails. Her soft black hair was lying through her back. She was dazzling.

All the gods were looking at her in the meeting. She imposed presence and power. The meeting went well, some presentations, a few words between gods that were friends, and then began the main topic.

Hermes: "I'm glad to see you all here, hmm it seems that Freya didn't come... again...well, we are here to decide the name of the new Hestia Familia member... Bell Cranel, a level four adventurer."

Murmurs began to be heard among the gods. They knew that Bell was a new adventurer in Orario so, it was weird that he was level 4 and that Hestia has it as her first member.

Hermes: "To clarify, Bell Cranel has trained all his life and fought surface monsters in his village as a member of another Familia... and there is no explanation as to why Hestia Familia.."

Murmurs began to be heard again, Hestia began to panic. Gods always mock new adventurers.

Hestia: "I propose <white lightning>... his white hair is rare and his magic is lightning.."

Suddenly, some gods started to cry.

???1: The white outsider

???2: The zappy Rabbit

???3: flashy white

Hephaestus: "I support white lightning" -she said while winking at Hestia

Hermes: "What say the rest?"

After a few conversations, the zappy rabbit started to win, then Hestia interrupted. She needs to secure the nickname, Bell was already in her heart, and she didn't want to disappoint him.

Hestia: "Don't you dare to mock my first, and level 4, member of my Familia..." -she said while realizing a little of her divinity-

Hermes: "Stop your divinity Hestia, it's forbidden... everyone makes a decision quickly."

After a few minutes, <The white flash> came out, it wasn't that majestic as lightning, but still, it was good. Then, Hestia took the word.

Hestia: "Attention everyone, as some of you may know, Zeus has come back... I talked to him, and as he said, he is not interested in reforming his Familia. He just wants to live in peace with... with his grandson..."

All the gods were surprised. Silence filled the room. No one knew about a grandson, nor even a son of Zeus, all gods are cursed and can have children.

Hestis: "Well, adopted grandson..."

Everybody got surprised again, and so, the meeting continued.
