The Attack on Ubuyashiki Mannor

In the cold dusk of evening, Muzan Kibutsuji, the Demon Queen, made her way through the dense forest with an air of nonchalance. She hummed a playful, almost childish tune as she strolled closer to the Ubuyashiki estate, her steps light and unhurried. The fireflies danced in the soft evening glow, unaware of the chilling intent in her heart. She had finally found the elusive Ubuyashiki, the very man whose bloodline had plagued her for centuries, and tonight, she intended to end them once and for all.

Days earlier, in the serene yet somber quiet of the Ubuyashiki gardens, Bell Cranel and Gyomei Himejima sat side by side with the Master, the frail yet unwavering leader of the Demon Slayer Corps. He shared his final plan with them, a plan that would put everything on the line. His voice, steady but tinged with an undeniable sadness, carried a solemn weight.

"I have made peace with my role in this battle," Kagaya Ubuyashiki said softly, his gaze fixed on the evening sky, where twilight melded into darkness. "If I can deal one final blow to Muzan, then my family will have fulfilled its purpose."

Bell and Gyomei sat silently, listening as he detailed the final steps he would take—steps that would mean his own death, as well as the lives of his wife and children.

Kagaya turned to them, his gentle smile unwavering despite the grim topic. "Gyomei, Bell… thank you for everything. You have been beacons of strength, and I know that the future is safe in your hands."

Bell clenched his fists, words catching in his throat, but he managed to nod. "Your legacy will live on, Master. We'll make sure of it."

Gyomei placed a heavy hand on the Master's frail shoulder. "Your sacrifice will not be in vain, Master. May your spirit guide us in the battle to come."

After exchanging solemn farewells with the Ubuyashiki family, Bell and Gyomei departed, carrying the weight of the plan in silence. They both understood that the day would come soon, and yet, they could not shake the pang in their chests.

Now, in the present, Muzan arrived at the estate's entrance with an air of casual disdain, her eyes taking in the grand yet humble gates as if they were mere obstacles to be swept aside. Her steps carried her through the shadows and into the courtyard, the cobblestones beneath her heels echoing in the stillness of the night. Her crimson eyes glinted in satisfaction as she crossed the threshold, savoring the imminence of her revenge.

Finally, she reached the heart of the estate, where Kagaya Ubuyashiki sat calmly, his gaze serene as he waited with his wife, Amane, by his side, along with their two children. They were positioned like guardians, their presence unwavering.

"Muzan Kibutsuji," Kagaya greeted her, his voice soft yet filled with an iron resolve. Muzan's lips curved into a mocking smile.

"How poetic," Muzan said, her voice like velvet laced with venom. "The entire Ubuyashiki family, ready to die together like lambs to the slaughter. Your bloodline has been a thorn in my side for too long."

Kagaya met her gaze calmly. "My life was never mine to keep," he said, his eyes alight with a mixture of sadness and determination. "I was given this life so that I could end yours."

Muzan's eyes narrowed, her playful smile vanishing as fury replaced it. "Your family's pathetic attempts to stop me have been nothing more than a nuisance. A smear on my existence that I will finally erase."

Kagaya inclined his head slightly, his expression gentle. "For centuries, we have suffered and bled, knowing that our lives would be given for this cause. My family accepted this fate long ago, and I accept it now."

Muzan raised her hand, her fingers gleaming like deadly talons. She was mere seconds from lunging forward, ready to rip through flesh and bone with ruthless precision, when she noticed something strange—a glimmer of defiance in the eyes of Kagaya, Amane, and their children. And then, almost imperceptibly, Kagaya gave a nod.

A sudden, blinding light burst around them as a massive explosion rocked the Ubuyashiki estate, igniting it in a furious blaze that scorched the sky. Flames erupted, engulfing the entire mansion and sending a shockwave through the forest. The fire roared to life, thick smoke billowing upward, casting a fiery glow that spread far and wide.

The blast rattled the ground miles away, and a murder of crows took to the skies with frenzied caws. Across the land, every Demon Slayer Corps crow carried the same grim message: The Ubuyashiki estate has been attacked. The Master is gone.

The Hashira, scattered throughout the land in various training locales, felt the urgency in the air and raced towards the estate with every ounce of speed they could muster. Bell felt the surge of energy in the air, his heart pounding as he realized what it meant. The Master was gone—and Muzan was still alive.

As he sprinted toward the blazing ruins, his body charged with adrenaline and fury, Bell couldn't help but feel the anticipation building. The endgame was upon them; the centuries-old war was about to reach its bloody climax.

In the thickening smoke and flames, Muzan staggered back, visibly shaken, though anger flashed across her face. The searing heat and the damage she had sustained clawed at her strength, and her crimson eyes filled with unbridled rage. The Ubuyashiki family had sacrificed themselves to strike at her, dealing her a blow she hadn't anticipated.

For the first time in centuries, Muzan Kibutsuji felt cornered.

Bell and the remaining Hashira, accompanied by Tanjiro and the senior Slayers, arrived one by one at the burning ruins. The air was charged with a sense of finality, a fierce energy that pulsed like a heartbeat. As Bell laid eyes on the battered yet standing form of Muzan, his expression shifted, a smile edging its way onto his lips despite the heavy loss they had suffered.

He could feel it, the Jumping of a millennium was about to commence.
