Bored!
Freya was bored. Very Bored. "had a gangbang with every member of her familia that was present in her familia manor and was still Bored" kind of bored. Sure it did provide some entertainment, but it was only temporary.
the downside of being a God with a domain of sex was the insatiable lust. Freya was ready for round 2 after one minute of rest...her familia (lovers) however were not. It was a shame that Ottar was not there, the Goddess was sure that he would at least last for 2 more rounds. 3 in total.
So here she was, on her throne, watching over Orario through her spying mirror. The goddess gaze was focused around the entrance of the dungeon as she marveled at the many colorful souls of the adventurers walking into its depths, thus creating a breathtaking kaleidoscope-like image.
One soul managed to catch her attention, however, but not because of any noteworthy reason. It was new, a new soul, she was sure about that. A soul shining so bright was certainly something you can't forget once you see it.
Not all souls shine, only mage's souls do, the intensity of that light depending on their magic power. It was weird for someone so magically powerful to suddenly pop out of nowhere but Freya just raised an eyebrow. The soul belonged to a young boy, white hair, red eyes...he looked like a bunny, it's cute, Freya would fuck him if she had a chance. But she wouldn't go out of her way to do it, at the end of the day, the boy was simply another mage like the thousand others she saw in her infinite lifespan.
"oh? Loki falna?" Freya let out a giggle. "another son to your collection of children? I suppose I will congratulate you later."
Freya then returned to watching over the city of Orario.

After some quick exchange of questions and answers, Eina gave Bell the green light for the 4th floor but made clear that he was not to go any deeper. He was okay with that. In all honesty, he was not expecting her to allow him to go that deep, to begin with, so he was satisfied. Although her decision may have been in some way encouraged by him answering all of her quiz questions right.
'thank God I was always good at studying.' he stopped. 'or should I start saying "thank Loki" instead?' not knowing what is the correct way, Bell just shrugged and descent into the second floor. The monsters on the first floor died... pathetically fast. A single hit with a {Thunder Arrow} was enough to kill them, but to be fair, all monsters on the first floor were very small. So maybe the electric shock was too much for their small frame?
A crack came out of the dungeon wall, Bell prepared himself. This would be the first time he will witness it, but dungeon monster can be found in 2 ways.
1. Just wander the dungeon and find them roaming around
2. they burst out of the dungeon walls.
Bell knows he was about to witness the second option.
Parts of the wall shattered, bits and pieces of the rocky wall hitting the floor as a bunch of goblins walked out of them. Bell noticed they were bigger than the first-floor variant, which made sense since monsters get tougher depending on how deep you are.
9 monsters, he can work with this.
"{Twin Magic: Acid Arrow}" the maximum amount of arrows he can create is 3, with the [Twin Magic] skill that doubles, making it 6 projectiles.
The sound of Goblins screaming in agony reached his ears.
6 projectiles of acid that splashes all over the place once it connects with something, and let me tell you this...the splash zone is big. Bell watched with a grimace on his face at the melting monster's flesh, it was a disgusting sight but thankfully it disappears in an explosion of black smoke and ash once the monster die.
2 survivors, both unable to move because of melted leg muscles. Wasting magic on them would be stupid, as a mage every single point of his MP (mind point) matters. With the goblins being unable to move, Bell approached them calmly and finished them both with the knife strapped to his hip. Two swift cuts to the neck and the job was done.
"these one die easily too." he sighed in disappointment.
Falna works by gathering exelia, which is the combat experience that the one with the falna goes through. If the battle is easy then you gain normal exelia...which sucks ass, 1 to 3 points is absolutely not worth diving into the dungeon. But! if the battle is hard... If it makes the one with falna sweat and put some actual effort to win and not die then he will get advanced exelia! The points gained from that can't be calculated, it depends on how much effort you had to put in a fight.
"so either I spend days committing mass genocide on the 1st to 4th-floor monsters to get as much exelia as possible, or I Ignore Eina advice and go beyond the 4th floor." as he thought about his options, a third idea popped into his mind. "or I find myself a party thus gaining access to the deeper floors as I won't be dungeon diving solo."
It was tempting. You don't have to kill the monster to gain exelia, you just have to have a fight with it! sure dealing the killing blow yourself would give you extra points, but does that mean much when you already gain much more than expected by fighting monsters stronger than you? sure, you do it as a group, which makes things a little safe but it's still one hell of a risk! it's not only because of numbers that 1 LV adventurers have a fighting chance in the floors that are above their pay grade...it was because of tactics and teamwork, if one of those fails then it will be a massacre.
so...take a painfully long time to gather one point at a time, or gather 10 points or more with each fight in the lower floors...
"something to think about when I get out of the dungeon" After all, both the book guide and Eina made it painfully clear that one should always be on high alert inside the dungeon. After all, it would be embarrassing to die because a goblin snuck up to him and stabbed him in the back while he was contemplating his options.
5 minutes and around 10 goblins later, Bell entered the 3rd floor where he was greeted with a club to the face. He fell backward, his ass meeting the floor. He tried to locate the attacker but before he could see him, he got smacked again, the force of the strike forcing him to lay on his back.
"{twin magic: thunder arrow}!" 6 lighting projectiles shot out forward. Bell didn't know which one hit his attacker but at least one did, that much he knew for sure as he heard an animalistic yelp of pain and a body hitting the ground.
letting out a groan and stood up, a quick scan of his surroundings revealed a lone bipedal wolf creature trashing on the ground, probably from the lightning attack. Bell didn't hesitate, he immediately took out his knife and pounced on the monster. He managed to stab the knife in the monster neck before he was thrown off to the side by it.
'it can just throw me around like it's nothing' Bell noted and watched as the bipedal wolf took out the knife and tried to run away while stopping the blood from escaping with his hands. Bell would be stupid to allow it to do so.
"{thunder arrow}" the monster let out another painful yelp as all 3 arrows struck its torso. This time it didn't get up, the monster exploded, black ash and smoke scattered around and the monster was no more.
<the king of death is now online>
'oh cool, bone daddy came back.' how long was he offline? 1 day? does it even matter?
<the king of death is wondering why your face looks like it served as a punching bag for a professional boxer.>
"huh? it can't be that bad, can it?' it didn't even hurt! well okay, it hurt a little...hold up, the pain is growing...ow, ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow ow OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW OW!!
Fuck! It's bad, it hurts like a bitch! Not only that but his sight is getting worse, he sees less! Is he getting a black eye? On both eyes??
"{Summon Angel 2nd Tier}" a magic circle came to life and an angel came out of it. "Do you know any healing spells?" the angel nodded. "heal me." soon after Bell said those words he felt a warm sensation washing over him. He also felt weird when his face changed from its swollen wounded state back into the normal cute boyish state.
it felt like a small colony of ants were moving under his skin, or at least this is the only way he could describe the feeling. What's weird is the fact that it didn't feel nearly as uncomfortable as it sounds.
when the process was done, Bell let out a sigh and stood up. "thanks" he said to the summoned angel and made his way to the place where the monster died. He crouched down and took the monster crystal that was left behind, something barely bigger than a fingernail.
<the king of death is curious about the item in your hand.>
"it's a magic stone, or monster stone, whatever you want to call it. The people here use it to power their technology." putting the stone in his shoulder bag, Bell started to explore the 3rd floor while his summon angel was following behind like a loyal dog.
<the king of death offers "Tier 2 tickets X5" in exchange for "a full bag of magic stones". Do you accept?>
<yes/no>
Bell crossed his arms and shoot an unimpressed look at the pop-up. "No. These stones are literally my only way of making money for now. You want them? give a better deal." there was a moment of silence, Bell didn't say anything and the system didn't show any pop-ups.
Just as Bell was about to accept the previous deal, bone daddy made a second offer.
<the king of death offers "tier 2 tickets x 10" in exchange for "a full bag of magic stones". Do you accept?>
<yes/no>
"yes"
<the deal will be made once Bell Cranel has the necessary amount of Magic stones.>
A smirk made its way on the boy's face. "{Twin Magic: Summon Angel 2nd Tier}" two more Angels came out of their individual magic circle, and after doing the same thing 2 more times, Bell now had 6 new Angels (not counting the one he summoned earlier). "Go and kill all monsters you see and collect their magic stones, if other adventurers are fighting the monsters then leave them be. Once you collect them to the point where you can't carry them come back to me." the summoned angels bowed.
"Yes, O' summoner" they all said in unison and floated away into the dungeon dark corridors.
Bell watched them float away with a shocked face. "they can talk?" he asked himself as his body tensed.
Were the angels sentient? Did they have feelings or are they like robots? No emotion just mimicry of it? Did he just send a bunch of people to potential death?? The very thought of such possibly made him nervous.
Bell shook his head. 'don't get distracted, be at constant vigilance!' he reminded himself and started wandering the corridors once again.
---couple hours later Twilight Manor---
Loki was in pain.
but that is normal when an Lv5 punches you straight in the face. "Aiz, why are bullying mommy!?" The goddess said with a mock hurt voice as she looked at the sword princess. Her arm still stretched out in a punching motion.
"pervert" was the only response that came out of Aiz, and it was more than enough of a reason for her to punch her goddess.
After all, it was no secret that while Loki indeed treated her familia like her own children, it was also not a secret that she is rather ...*forward* with some of them that are to her fancy...
what can I say, if Loki likes, Loki touch.
Her child or a stranger, who cares? she doesn't. After spending a quadrillion years' worth of living one simply stopped carrying about what is morally right to fuck and what not. All gods she knew didn't care about gender or age.
Gods don't see gender or age...ONLY HOLES TO FILL!
...or lick...
...or rub together with other holes.
you get the idea!
"aww~ mommy isn't a pervert." the goddess started. "she just loves you in a slightly different way than your other brothers and sisters" Aiz flinched as she felt Loki suddenly appear beside her with an arm around her shoulder. She couldn't understand it. All that power...and they use it to mess around? Why are so many Gods so childish?
No matter how much she tried to understand it, she couldn't.
"so I just want to show you my love, Aiz, my darli-aghkp!" sensing Loki's hand getting dangerously close to her ass, Aiz once again punched the goddess away. She expected another assault from her goddess, but it never came. In fact, the goddess herself disappeared from the spot she crashed into, leaving her confused as to where she is.
"BELL!" Aiz heard Loki yell.
Bell? she didn't hear any Bells? do they even have a Bell in the Twilight Manor? why would they need Bells? Is there some sort of holiday coming soon?
Before she can go and investigate, Aiz saw Loki dragging away a young boy to the bedrooms area.
"big bunny." she thought out loud as she saw the boy.
...
...
...
she wants to ruffle his hair...
---meanwhile in a certain tower on a flowery field.---
Merlin sighed. "fine, I accept."
<took ya' long enough.>
the magus of flowers rolled his eyes.
