Lucius approached with Ryuu by his side at the entrance, touching it. "This..." He murmured and tried to cast his teleportation magic into the place, but he felt dizzy.

"Are you okay...?" Ryuu noticed Lucius's behavior and asked.

"I am, just noticed these walls are magical, as expected from Knossos..." Lucius commented, looking at the place he could not penetrate.

"Can't we enter?" She asked, and he was about to nod but felt something, as did Ryuu, as men quickly approached the place, having no choice, he hugged Ryuu and disappeared from there, reappearing in the sky while he clutched Ryuu by the waist.

"Sorry about this..." He commented, seeing that the woman was giving him a deadly and disconcerted look.

Meanwhile, the men arrived at the entrance of that base, "We found nothing about their whereabouts..." One of them complained.

"It doesn't matter now, we must deliver the report to Thanatos-Sama." The other man with a cape commented.

As they approached the wall, they took out a kind of medallion that fit into a hole in the entrance, one of them looked back to make sure there was no one and pointed the object at the hole.

However, Lucius appeared at that exact moment with Ryuu, quickly knocking the men out. "Looks like we have our entrance..." Lucius smiled while Ryuu still seemed disconcerted by the man's touch.

Inside the Thanatos Familia's headquarters, a meeting was happening at that exact moment, a group with 10 members of the assassin family were gathered around a table, already knowing what happened in the black market.

"What? What should we do, They are dead!" one of the assassins said, alarmed.

"Yes, 2 of them are dead, electrocuted, while the other 2 disappeared. According to witnesses, those 2 people took them somewhere." Another member spoke.

"What's this now? Suddenly, people come talking about an organization that we can't even touch, one so powerful we are ordered to eliminate anyone who mentions it. Now these people are killing us when we should be eliminating them." Barca Perdix murmurs, a level 4 member.

"Maybe it was a provocation. Whoever knows these names, for sure, knew we would go after them. It was a trap," one of the adventurers commented with a grim look.

"What should we do? Can they launch a surprise attack on our base?" another commented.

"We must be prepared for that," said a woman, in a corner of the table. Valletta Grede, the commander of the family and a level 5 human,

"I doubt our fellows would give information about us," another growled.

"We don't know what will happen, but we must be prepared," Vito, another level 4 human, insisted.

The woman who spoke before, Valletta, looked at the man at the head of the table, who was their God. "What should we do, Thanatos-Sama?"

"We better be prepared. We have to eliminate these people, otherwise, we will be the ones eliminated. You know we can't mess with that organization, even being part of Evilus." Thanatos said in a somber tone.

"Yes," they agreed, but as they were about to leave the room. The door opened and Lucius, in his cape, calmly walked into the place, alerting all members of the assassin organization.

"You seemed to have a quite interesting meeting here..." The distorted voice came from Lucius.

"Who are you?" someone quickly asked, even knowing the answer.

"So you are the person they call Lord Sith? seems like you found us," Thanatos said calmly while looking at the intruder.

"It's true. I had to torture your friends a bit, but here we are. Let's play a bit," Lucius spoke with his distorted voice, making everyone immediately get into a combat position.

"You're not getting out of here alive." Valletta said while grabbing her weapon.

One of the members quickly drew some daggers and started throwing them towards Lucius, who simply raised his hand and launched lightning, stopping the projectiles, falling to the ground with the sound of metal. "What's the rush? Why don't we talk a bit?" Lucius commented.

"As if we could talk," Vito growled, already raising his weapons to face him. Lucius just shrugged, as he wanted to distract them at that moment. Above them, suddenly, space distorted and Ryuu appeared inside a time sphere, before it unraveled and the elf fell on top of the group.

"Wait, this magic..." one of them murmured, looking towards the light and alarmed, as Ryuu approached. She managed to reach them and took down 2 of them, while the rest began to dodge her attacks and launched an attack on her. But Lucius used his magic and surrounded her again with a time sphere and teleported her to his side.

"This magic! You are Lucius Drakenar! You are that mage?" The woman said, already aware of his identity. Lucius just shrugged, as there was no longer any reason to hide it, seeing that he would have to use all his powers to destroy this family. "Well, let's start playing." He declared, ignoring the accusations.

After he said that, he raised both hands, and flames and lightning in each hand began to emerge. He disappeared, alerting everyone, and began to strike throughout the room while appearing amidst them. Ryuu did not stay behind, joining him against the assassins. The place turned into chaos with the fight, despite having a level 5 adventurer among the enemy family, Lucius had the advantage of teleporting, though he still had a bit of difficulty fighting against her. Then he went for her, since Ryuu could not deal with this enemy.

As they exchanged blows, the woman moved at high speed, trying to reach him, but Lucius still had the advantage as he dodged her blows and attacked the unsuspecting members of the place. Thanatos was scared in a corner, while the fight happened, his family was falling little by little. Ryuu was handling well against the other adventurers, despite being level 4 like Barca Perdix and Vito, and even though she was not a front-line adventurer, she still kept them busy while Lucius launched attacks to knock them down, while dodging the level 5 adventurer trying to hit him as they ran through the room.

The fight continued for over 20 minutes. Little by little, they fell until Thanatos saw that the siege was closing in on his side and tried to flee, but Lucius teleported to his side and kicked him in the chest, making him fall to the ground, screaming: "You dare attack a God?" But Lucius did not care. He returned to the woman who was fighting, as she growled and tried to hit him, but he began to launch lightning strikes across the area.

In the end, Lucius managed to take down the last adventurer, leaving only the commander. Lucius could take her down, but he had to use a lot of power and was not in an open area, which greatly hindered his powers and spells.

At the moment the level 5 woman found herself surrounded by Lucius and Ryuu, she frowned and took some magical vials from her pocket. She threw herself to the ground, exploding the area into smoke, leaving Lucius and Ryuu a bit surprised by this. Lucius quickly activated his life-detection magic, he saw that the woman was running through the corner of the room. He began to launch lightning strikes that were much faster. However, the woman managed to dodge everything with her level 5 agility. In desperation, she reached her God fallen on the ground, exploded another bottle, creating more smoke in the area again while she fled through the door.

"This is poison," Ryuu commented, covering her nose. Lucius did not think twice, grabbed her, and teleported to a safer area. However, he still followed the level 5 and her God fleeing from the area, leaving Ryuu behind. She continued fleeing down the hallway, while Lucius approached, launching attacks, but the woman managed to dodge and threw more and more bottles on the ground to slow down the mage.

Lucius did not give up, dodging all the woman's attempts to stop him and launching attacks to catch her, but she managed to be a bit faster than his teleport, which he could not keep using much in an area with a lot of poison in the air. At one moment, however, a trap opens in the location where Lucius suddenly passed, catching the mage by surprise.

"What is this?!" He felt something strange happening to him, and the woman looked at him with a satisfied expression. "Finally caught you, mage. We have some anti-magic traps in this place." Lucius felt like he had suddenly lost all his magic, feeling his magical body disappear along with all the buffs.

"Can they do that?!" Lucius asked, a bit alarmed, since he believed his infinite mana was immune to such traps.

The woman, seeing her chance to avenge her fallen comrades, grabbed her weapon and started running towards Lucius, leaving her God aside. Lucius, in turn, took his daggers, the only weapons he kept outside the dimensional space in his clothes.

The woman and Lucius began to exchange blows quickly with her trying to kill him there. Despite being a level 4 or 5 in his stats, he faced her with some difficulty; they continued to exchange blows quickly. Lucius was not doing well, realizing he was losing, with some cuts on his body leaving him quite surprised. However, he kept attacking without backing down, they moved quickly through the area, fighting against each other. Lucius knew that if it continued like this, he might lose.

However, Ryuu finally reached Lucius and appeared by his side, using her staff, she also began to attack the woman, Valletta feeling that she would lose against the two adventurers now. She had no choice but to back off and throw another glass on the ground, with smoke appearing and blocking the path while leaving Lucius and Ryuu on the side of the corridor.

Lucius looked frustrated, since he was without magic with it blocked, and looked at Ryuu. "We should not give up yet. Do you know how to nullify this effect?" he asked.

"Yes, let me do this. I know some elven magics that can clear negative effects," she commented and began to cast some small spells. Although the spell took time, as she spent 5 minutes concentrating magic, Lucius finally felt his magic returning. "Finally!" He said and picked her up, before teleporting out, looking for the God and the assassin woman.

"They escaped," Ryuu spoke, with a bit of frustration, but Lucius shook his head.

"No, they haven't escaped. They might have gotten away, but we can still find them," he said, releasing his clairvoyance magic. A white path began to emerge. "Let's continue our hunt," He spoke, and the elf nodded, as they followed the path, ready to catch their prey that very night.
