Saturday is here and Primo's third cousin just wakes up from his deep slumber with a frown on his face. He looks around the apartment until he finds the piece of cloth that he was looking for last night.
He sighs and picks it up when he hears an apparent noise coming from their youngest cousin's room. With confusion in his mind, he barges inside the room and screams when he sees something he shouldn't.
"Knock! Fucking knock before you enter!"
Primo is in his deep slumber when he sees the constant yelling from the outside. He groans to no one and flicks the bed sheet away from his body as he stomps his way out of his room.
He looks at the scene of the fight and sees a half-naked woman watching his older cousin and Daime fighting over something. Primo does not understand the root of the problem but one thing is for sure; they are not fighting because of the woman.
"Saturday is supposed to be a rest for all of us. Why the fuck are you guys fighting this early?"
Both Daime and their other cousin flinch at the sudden voice that interrupts their fight. They both look at the half-asleep Primo, standing beside the woman who clearly did not anticipate his presence.
"Can I ask what the root of this problem is? You guys look like you are about to pounce and kill each other."
Daime looks away from Primo as the man looks around the mess that the two caused while he is waiting for them to answer his question.
But none of them is answering him. Primo sighs as he ruffles his unruly hair.
"Since none of you guys is answering me, I better go back to my sleep while you clean everything."
Daime and his older cousin nod at Primo as they immediately clean up the mess that they made while they were angrily yelling earlier.
Before Primo enters his room, he faces the woman who is covering her whole body as she is being shy under Primo's warning gaze.
"I won't ask what you are doing here but you should go home. The show is over."
With that, the woman nods her head and immediately dresses up before bidding her farewell to Daime, who only nods at her way.
Primo watches her get out of the condominium before looking back at his cousins who are done cleaning up.
"So…"
Daime flinches and looks at Primo's way. Both of them know that it is dangerous making the older mad. Even the oldest among them three is scared of Primo whenever he is mad.
Sensing this reluctancy from his cousins, Primo sighs as he massages his temple before sitting on the couch, thinking of what he should do to his cousins who disagree with each other.
"So, what is it this time?"
Like little kids getting scolded by their angry father, Daime and his older cousin look down to the ground and wish for it to swallow them whole in order to escape their fate in the hands of a former assassin.
"It is my fault, Primo. I didn't knock on Daime's door when I heard some sounds coming from his bedroom."
As Daime hears the confession, his cheeks are filled with tints of red that spread to his ears. Primo chuckles after hearing the root of the problem.
"You know, sometimes I asked myself whether I am living with adults or teenagers."
His voice is either teasing or mad, none of the two can know, Primo suddenly stands up and goes to the kitchen, passing the two without saying anything more.
"What food do you want for breakfast? Eggs? Bacon? Fish?"
Both Daime and his other cousin look at Primo as if asking if they will not be punished after the humiliation and the mess that they caused earlier.
"I am not that devilish old woman so why will I punish you guys. Now, tell me what you want for breakfast."
The oldest cousin scoffs and picks eggs and bacon as their breakfast while Daime still tries to process what just happened to their morning.
Primo snaps his fingers on Daime as the latter blinks away at the sudden sound from his side.
"Wake up, kid. It's your time to arrange the plates."
If this is what mature adults look like, Daime doesn't want to go far from Primo and will want to learn his ways on handling a problem.
Not that the latter wants to know what Primo plans for his angel but it will help Daime to handle a future problem when he faces Primo for his angel who also saved him from a traumatic event that had happened when he was a kid.
An angel who made him realized how beautiful life could be after experiencing something that ruins him from the inside.
A simple gesture that blooms into a friendship that Daime longs for after meeting the devilish woman who almost fucked up his life.
Daime sighs as he sits on his chair and waits for Primo and his cousin to finish cooking their breakfast.
Cooking for three growing men is not as fast as others think especially if all of them eat for five people each.
Daime pulls out his phone from his pocket and quickly opens discord to scroll down their class's server to see whether there is an update about their assignment or whatever announcement that server has.
He scrolls up until the last part of the conversation between penicillin and cephalosporin. When his phone vibrates again, indicating someone sent him a direct message on his discord account.
He looks onto the message and his widen in surprise. He immediately went back to his class's server to check his friend's message.
Lo, and behold, an angelic name enters their server and introduces himself as one of his classmates. To make sure that he is the angel that he longs for, he asks his friend to ask the new person to reveal their face.
The newcomer says okay and sends his picture with a caption: "I am at work as I take this selfie. I hope my manager will not scold me if he finds out. *winks*"
Daime can feel butterflies in his stomach and immediately saves the picture before welcoming him to the server. Everyone welcomes after him while his friends tease him.
He puts his phone away as he sees the two approaching and helped them carry out the plates of food and some drinks.
"Hey, Primo."
Daime calls out to the second oldest as he swallows his first bite of food. Primo looks at him with a curious expression and waits for the latter's next words before asking about it.
"Can I borrow some money from you?"
Their oldest cousin chokes on his own food as he looks at Daime with a stupefied expression before getting his glass of water and chugs the whole glass. He coughs multiple times before asking Daime.
"What do you need the money for?"
Daime's mind almost went blank but he manages to give him an answer but not without stuttering.
"M-My classmates invite me to go to a new c-café. The café is located just in front of the gasoline station at the oval."
Primo stares at him for almost a minute before standing up and gets his wallet from his room. His other cousin looks at Daime who is looking at him as sincere as possible so he will believe him.
Primo's door opens and reveals a man with wide shoulders walking towards them while holding a blue bill and gives it to Daime.
"Don't spend everything."
Daime nods finishing his breakfast in a speed of light. Bidding his farewell to his cousins and goes out of the condominium to the café where his angel is working.
"You will be mine. For sure."
