Epilogue: 3 Months Later

Megan was on her way to meet up with her sister as a sort of family reunion. They were still sad about their mother but they were continuing with life. Megan started school at UCLA and things were going well. Her shoulder was all healed, although it left a scar. It was a reminder of that terrible event but it kept her motivated for a career in law enforcement. She went through therapy and will be doing it for a while to help with her mother's death, her father's reappearance and being a criminal, her gunshot wound, and any trauma caused by the events. Overall, things were doing well considering what they've been through. Her father went back to jail and won't be hurting anyone anymore, keeping Megan and her sister safe.
