Meanwhile, at Andrew Penthouse, Mel stares at her ringing cell phone in her hand.
She remembers the number that has not been saved on her phone book as her father's personal phone number. She picked up the call on the last ring.
"My Daughter, are you well?" Alan Tanner asks with his caring tone.
Mel doesn't answer but asks back her dad; why he's calling.
Alan Tanner couldn't help but bitterly smile. His only daughter had not entirely accepted him. But, their current development is quite a lot of progress. Now his little daughter calls him Dad. And it sounded natural. Makes him incredibly happy.
Mel got up from the sofa and stood at the large glass window, looking out over the backyard garden. For some reason, recently, her cold heart towards her father melted away every time she heard his sincere voice.
"My Daughter, Dad just wanted to ask. Were you the one who sent the detective to Tanner Mansion to catch Vivian?"
