Meeting and Deal

"Where am I?" Jacob opened his eyes and sharp beam of light hit him to the face, he was lying in middle of nowhere. Around him was just desert. He stood up and heard some noise coming from behind him. When he turned around he saw his nomad family enjoying their self, and between them was smiling and laughing Aura and Jesse. Jacob came to them but he was a little diffrent, he didn't had any cyberware implants.

"What the hell is this?" Jacob asked himself and begin to move towards them, but as he was walking he didn't got any closer. Then he bumped into something, something invisible but behind that invisible wall was happy life, he punched the invisible wall and ask himself 'Why I can't have happy and normal life, fuck why...', behind the wall were something like other univers where they just pass around Nigh City without stopping, Jesse Aura and more others are alive.

Then suddenly wall cracked and ground under him too, and right after that everything felt apart and Jacob falling to complete darkness. When he woke up in Dyson's clinic, he woke up all sweaty, breathing heavily. "You are awake." Dyson said, "I thought you are not gonna make it man." Dyson continued with his speech. Jacob looked at his body and his belly was covered with bandage, "And by the way Jacob. I threw out your jacket, cause it had holes from bullets." Dyson said and took something, "That jacket was expensive, but what I can do now." Jacob said slowly because everything hurt him. "And I have one more thing Jacob." Dyson said, "While I was patching you up I did some tests to make sure you are okay, but while doing one test related to your brain. I found something serious." Dyson finished, he was dead serious, then he moved closer some table with wheels and put there hologram projector and he turn it on seme time. On that projector, the hologram showed two 3D pictures of Jacobs brain. One from before everything happened and second is Jacob's brain right now.

"These are pictures of your brain before everything happed and now. As you can see on this right picture your brain look normal and it was normal, normal functionality, everything normal. But on that other picture you can see red spots. Dyson was explaining, "But what are those red things?" Jacob asked, "I was going to say it." Dyson replied and continued to speak, "These red things on you brain are something like brain damage. Your brain did not got hurt physically but mentally, and reason is because of recent events, first trigger was death of your friends, second was when you got new cyberware, and third was when I told you who is behing everything. Normaly your brain should have been fine but because of cyberware you got a side effect that can not be cured, and eventually your psyche will break like a glass and you will no be the same." Dyson explained almost everything and best he could do to Jacob, but for Jacob everything was bad and its only worse, "And what kind of illness is it or whatever." Jacob said, Dyson turned off hologram projector and put it on table behind him, then he turned back to Jacob and started talking, "I'm not really sure what is it. It can be cyberpsychosis, because the main reason why you have this unknown illness is because of cyberware implants. Or it can be Schizophrenia or Personality Disorder or Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome. Every mental illness is similar so I can't tell you now, but as I said my guess is slowly growing Cyberpsychosis, I will do some test on you later. Now you are not in danger and these pills should help." Dyson replied to Jacobs questions and put pills on bed where Jacob was sitting, he opened it and took one pill. "After the meeting I will run complete diagnosis of your brain." Dyson said and pointed at the cabinet, "There are some spare clothes. Take them." Jacob stood up, "Thanks." said and took some clothes white T-shirt with writing on back 'We live just once. So fucking enjoy it!' When Jacob saw that he smiled and put it on. He also found some black pants with pair of shoes.

While Jacob was changing Dyson also changed his clothes before he had formal clothes but now he had more like street style clothes. "Ready to go?" Dyson asked and Jacob nod his head, they got out from back door where was garage. Dyson opened the garage door and there was beautiful dark grey muscle car. "This time, we will go with my ride." He said and both of them got inside car, before Dyson started car Jacob asked, "Where are we heading?" "To El Coyote Cojo. It's located at Glen so just relax." Dyson replied and started up the car, and after some time they arrived and parked the car in front of the bar, both of them got out from the car, "I took mine gun back, while your was out. And I suppose you don't have any weapon on yourself now right." Dyson said as he checked his weapon and put it back into his jacket, Jacob stood next to Dyson and said, "I have these two bad boys." And Jacob raised his hands. Dyson looked at him, smiled and replied "So you know how to be funny." Dyson stoped smiling and said, "Now, let's go in." And they entered, there were a lot of people, Dyson and Jacob stopped at bar and Dyson asked a bartender Pepe that they are looking for Veronica Stewart, Peter pointed at first floor. Dyson thank him and Dyson in lead and Jacob right behind him went where Pepe showed them.

When they got there one of the Veronicas gang member stopped them, "Where the fuck are you going, don't you see this table is already in use? So turn around now before you get hurt." He said egotistical tone, Jacob took a step closer and was eye to eye to stranger, "We have meeting here. With Miss. Stewart right there. *points at Veronica* So if could be so nice and move your self away before I smash your head against the table." Jacob said and stranger pushed him, "What did you say you piece of shit?" Stranger said, and Veronica noticed presence of Jacob and Dyson, "These guys have meeting with me so chill out and let them sit." Veronica said, when Jacob with Dyson sat down.

Veronica was beautiful young woman with blue shining eyes like diamond and medium long blond almost gold like hair and with body like mature woman.

"So let's not waste our time and let's get to point. What do you want?" Veronica said to Jacob and Dyson. "We want to destroy gang named DoomBringers." Jacob said, Veronica smiled and said, "Right to the point. I like that. But, your request is almost impossible to accomplish. If you want to hire us you gonna need lot of money." Jacob lean forward, "Eddies are not problem here, I only need to know If you can do it." Jacob said, "What do you think we are, of course we can pull it off, but for the right price." Veronica said, and then Jacob transfered 300k eddies to Veronica. When she saw that, she couldn't believe it. "Woah, that's little too much you know." She said, "I have one more request, I want to join you while doing our request." Jacob said but Veronica looked suprised, "May I ask why?" She asked and Jacob replied "That's a personal reason, but with amount of eddies I suppose I can, right?" Veronica sighed and nodded her head. "Same goes for me too." Dyson said.

"Alright then boys, we will fulfill you requests but if you want to join us doing your request. We need to test you." Veronica said, "For me it's not problem." Jacob immediately replied, and Dyson was unsure but he also agreed.

"I have your numbers so you can go now and I will call you soon." Veronica said and Dyson with Jacob stood up and left. When they left the bar Dyson asked Jacob, "Do you want me to drive you to your apartment?" Jacob thought 'Oh shit he don't know? I didn't tell him?' So Jacob told him what happed and left Dyson with open mouth. "You fucking psycho. I knew your brain was fucked up but I didn't know effects already began. Fuck man." Dysom said and then took big breath, "Come with me to my place, It's way safer that way and tomorrow we will perform some tests" Dyson said and opened a car, "As you say boss." And Jacob got inside the car with Dyson, went to his place.
