"What's wrong with you?" Leo asks when I enter my room and I nearly drop my towel in fright.
"Oh my- I thought you were in the-"
"Sunny, I thought we spoke about you telling me when you're upset."
His voice is stern and it makes my tummy turn in anxiousness because I can't even put my thoughts into order let alone my words.
"Sunniva." He scolds and I sigh heavily.
"It's not- I just-" I facepalm when my mouth mimics exactly what's going on inside my head.
Leo stands from my bed and slowly walks toward me. I unknowingly hold my breath when he slips his hand behind my head and lifts my gaze onto his face.
I slowly feel my anxiety deflate, "I feel like you've been acting really odd lately and. I feel like maybe because I told you that I... that I love you it somehow made it I don't know... worse?" I lose my momentum and can no longer face the piercing gaze of my boyfriend.
Leo's quiet for a moment and somehow that's even worse than anything he could say.
